I was just looking on the fallout wiki, and it says that the province that included texas was simply called texas and it included texas and Oklahoma. Now, coming from texas myself, i couldn't help but laugh at this. That got me thinking too, after a nuclear war, texas really wouldn't look that much different! We are ALREADY a barren wasteland!

Off topic but I'd love to see either a Texas or Florida location in the next fallout (have family at both), they both seem like cool places to have a fallout place set. Plus be nice to see some places i've been too since i've sadly not been able to get to D.C on my travels yet.

Doesn't an NPC mention Texas in the earlier games as being some sort of hellish place ?

Actually, now that you mention it texas WOULD be a good setting for a fallout game. Set it in fort worth! it would be cool to walk around the city i live in in a game....

Here's all that is known about Texas:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Texas

The Texas Commonwealth actually included Arkansas, not Oklahoma.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel takes place in Texas, and the canceled Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2 was also going to be in Texas.

I wasn't aware of this, you have yet again told me something I never knew about fallout Ausir.
