You will just be startled a little. Same with most locations. You will be fine just have some ammo for a shotgun or a nice pistol/smg.

Haha... yeah. For a first time player, stay on the road, follow the main quest. You won't be able to take on cazadors for a while.

Also, use a submachine gun if you absolutely have to take them on. They have no DT, and unless you're a crack shot you won't get them with a lever- or bolt-action gun, so spray away.

Hahaha! You should have seen them before the DLCs. They were hard even at max level (30). You probably made a wrong turn somewhere, thought you were going to the Repconn Test Site not the Repconn Headquarters.

I went to the test site but I could not pic the doors to get to the lower level. I ended up at a ranger station and had to bring some codes to to a few others. The station that's farthest away is hard to get to. Im gonna go buy the DLCs and see if I get anything cool

Yeah, that's not your fault is it? People in the Mojave are awfully quick to shoot.

Don't worry, you can still get Boone as your partner. there is often arrows on your compass that tell you what to investigate.

Also, I don't like spoilers, but the website Fallout Wiki is very helpful. I never read the spoilers but it tells you how to activate quests...

If you get Boone, his quest is not easy to get, so I recommend finding out all the "Triggers" That get him to talk.

Argggghhh so I found the slave trader receipt in the dino delight so I know it was really jennie may. But I killed her already. The option is still open to get someone to stand in front of the dinosaur and get shot by boone. But who. ??? And how?? I downloaded all the dlc's and love the gun runner options... I just can't afford any of them.

Also the legion is hunting me non stop.
