Argggghhh so I found the slave trader receipt in the dino delight so I know it was really jennie may. But I killed her already. The option is still open to get someone to stand in front of the dinosaur and get shot by boone. But who. ??? And how?? I downloaded all the dlc's and love the gun runner options... I just can't afford any of them.

Yeah... sometimes you can 'break' a quest - there are no essential characters in FNV so you might sometimes accidentally off someone important to some quest.

Don't worry about not being able to afford the GRA weapons at this early stage. You will, eventually.

Can't you talk to BOone and tell him it was Jenny May? If not, I guess you can find some of the town folk. the morality of this is kind of dark. But No Bark is kind of old and crazy and he's not helping anyone so ...

I'm not sure who you can and can't ask to walk infront of the dinosaur but I know the farmer family is one of them, with all the Brahmin... you have to speak to people to see if you can ask them.

Only if you want boone as a follower though. There's also a nice homosixual fella in the old mormon fort in freeside and primm has a robot you can put together in the Mojave Express building.

As for the legion, i told you, they're evil!

Im really starting to have fun in this game.. anyway im wandering around.. not really doing any one quest in any real order. im just trying to discover all the spots on the map. The Legion is still hunting me non stop. No luck in getting anyone to follow me to get shot by boone so im thinking i lost that chance. I did pick up Ed-E yesterday and fixed him up. I used a Stealth boy on accident and thought that it was cool. Id like to get more of those. Tonight i want to go to black mountain and kill that chick. im only level 15 though.... hmm...

Dude, I though you were dead! whoa ... If you go to the 188 trading post you can pick up veronica, she's my fave.

if you haven't been to the strip or freeside yet, you get alot of missions and Arcade Gannon is in the mormon fort.

Honestly one fault I have with this game, especially the Boone mission, is that alot of the time you wouldn't know there was a quest available unless you go to the fall out wikia and find out how to activate them.

I'll tell you this though, if you swing by novac again, you can get the farmer and his wife to walk in front of the dinosaur. They have the house behind the doctor.

The rule of thumb is if you don't know how someone would react, don't say (or do) anything confrontational. Until you make up your mind about someone I suggest not saying anything mean about them or anyone else.

well i ended up just walking around all day. i finished up the mission where i have to clear all the gouls out of the building. anyway the boone mission is a flop. i tried to talk to everyone in the town. nada. the farmer and his wife do not give the option. anyway i picked up veronica and was thinking of taking her out in front of the dino to see if boone would shoot her. would boone be a better person to travel with. Ed-e is awsone. lots of help.

If you want Boone you can get him to shoot anyone without evidence as long as you have a speech skill of 55 or higher.

Well if you're short on caps when you reach Freeside then rob the Silver Rush of it's energy weapons, if you're in [Hidden] mode then they won't notice if you steal something, you can use the Z button on PC and pressing the anolouge stick down to "grab" an item, grab the weapons in there and go to a dark corner and hide so you can take it.

It's the only way to fully appreciate the faction.

Oh, and remember you can p.o. any of the main factions as much as you want, but make sure to do it before meeting up with Benny. Once you get to Benny, it resets your reputation.

Exactly. You'd want to do a Legion playthrough at some point, but starting with the Legion is a terrible idea.

You guys don't know what you're talking about. All other factions will sour you to the Legion and if you begin with NCR, you'll have this never ending hatred for the Legion. You can get a great prespective of the Mojave while playing Legion, just make sure to do all the fun NCR quests before you meet up with the Ben-Man.

My first play-through was Indy Vegas with a high NCR rep.
My second play-through was an NCR play-through.
My third was a House play-through with high NCR rep.

I still found time to do a Legion play-through and to appreciate them as a faction. I would not recommend doing a Legion play-through first, however, because of reasons that others mentioned.

True. My first playthrough was an NCR playthrough. Made me think the Legion were nothing but slaving [censored] mauraders! Even if I tried to do a legion playthrough I couldn't. I was turned off by them and never finished those characters that attempted to go legion.

But I took a break. Played Skyrim. Realized how little choice their was. Came back to New Vegas with all the dlcs and now I'm starting to see the Legion as a legitimate super power.
