If you could go anywhere in DLC...

I really don't see why people want to go to Solstheim, we've seen it all before.

I want to go to Roscrea, it's an island between Skyrim and Atmora, perfect.

Roscrea could be cool too. There isn't much known about it though.. yet: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Roscrea
Wonder how big it is :P

Still, I think Atmora would be the coolest. I wanna learn more about the origin of mankind (I think)!!!
I imagine some really huge, deep ice caverns, with monsters and secrets that are thousands and yet again thousands of years old :D

I also do not get the Solstheim. Not only have we seen it all before, but it would be practically indistinguishable from certain parts of Skyrim.

That's what makes it so great, since nothing is known about it Bethesda can do whatever they want with it. :D

Roscrea might be good, but after all that time in Skyrim, I think I'd want to go somewhere sunny.

Back to Cyrodiil. See if my statue in Bruma is still there and how the new engine makes Cyrodiil look.

If I had to pick another province, I'd probably pick Hammerfell OR Elswyr and Velenwood in one game. I'd love the arid deserts of Hammerfell, but Velenwood/Elswyr would be cool cause it would be tropical to jungle to rolling plains to desert :) and plenty of coast.

It's been the theme of expansions since Morrowind even that they take place somewhere that relates to the main game (either in location or theme). They are typically very different in style to the original because who wouldn't get bored with doing the same thing for so many years? The devs need a change of pace.

Morrowind -> Solstheim (snowy island north of Vvardenfell) / Mornehold (Morrowind mainland)
Oblivion -> Shivering Isle (Sheogorath's Daedric Plane)

They also are somewhat related to the original game's location. With Morrowind's expansions taking place in a couple nearby locations. While Oblivion's took place in another Daedric plane of Oblivion (the realm), since it was Oblivion that was the focus of the game's main theme.

I figure we'll either be visiting another surrounding land or something related to the overarching theme of the game (some sort of dragon related land?). Id still love to see the Akavari lands in game at some point but I think it deserves it's own game instead.

Nooooo, don't combine them. They have plenty of indiciduality and variation as it is. Ever played the mod Elsweyr, Deserts of Anequina? It was brilliant, and only a small attempt compared to what a full sized game would be. And it's not all desert. There was grasslands, forest, desert, dunes, another type of red rocky desert, beaches and a magnificent jungle. So no need to add in Valenwood with it.

i cant decide where i want the expansion to go. what is 1.close by 2. relevant to the story 3. and drastically(or at least significantly) different than Skyrim???

as for ES-6 i want both Velenwood/Elswyr together.. whose says they cant pull it off Beth hired more people after Oblivion was a success and i think after Fallout3, so why cant they hire more people after Skyrim is a big hit. they can set up two separate teams to make a provinces each but still have an admin dev team watching over both and guiding both teams. that way the provinces will have both their own feel and flavor and be playable together.....

then i want ES-7 to be Summerset with all those islands around it (great for seafaring and pirates and boats and ships and stuff)

then i want ES-8 to be Akavari, gives them enough time to make that (continent i guess) epic and huge

(yea i'm dreaming put its still legal... 6-7 would be on the next Gen consoles and then 8 depending on how bad ass the next gen is could either be on those as well or be on the next gen after that.

Solstheim.

Edit: And as an expansion please. Not as a DLC.

WHY!? We have already been here.

A new place would be a lot better.

Reading over posts, my preference lies with either High Rock, Orsinium/the Wrothgarians, Roscrea or Atmora.

I'm a fan of this, or the Dragontail Mountains and Scourge Barrow.

Then there's Skaven in Hammerfell, just for the rat-man references... though that would probably result in a lawsuit.

I don't think it will be Argonia. They'll have to release it on new hardware, which like with Oblivion will cause engine troubles most likely, and Argonia is such an incredibly complex environment, it should probably be ES7. I'm personally hoping for and expecting either Elsweyr or Valenwood. They're fairly large departures from anything in the previous games, and should be wonderful environments with unique cultures.

I don't get it... You're saying Argonia is too complex, and then you say they should do Valenwood instead. Ehh,... well.. here's gigantic dense swamp versus gigantic incredibly dense jungle.

And your next point, elsweyr and valenwood being large departures from the previous games... Isn't a giant swamp filled with all kinds of mysterious, never before seen in previous games creatures, as well as being mostly unexplored? (mystical..)

And then i'm not even talking about the hist, as well as all the argonian tribes of whom we know near to nothing...

Ehh, no Solstheim for me, thank you. Unless it is already included within the main game. Each previous expansions featuring places with different flavors to their respective main games. They should keep that tradition.

I'm personally more partial to the southern provinces/regions, but I don't think that they'd pick any place where, for example, your gears would look too out of place in the new region, and vice-versa (you're a buffoon to strut your thick fur armor in the hot and humid climate of Pyandonea)

With that in mind, I'm hoping for a setting in Orsinium or mainland Morrowind. Though I actually think that Bethesda doesn't really see that releasing proper expansion as a form of lucrative business anymore... :sadvaultboy:

edit: Oh darn, yes! Daedric realms: now give me 'nother one of that instead! How could I forgot them?
