If you could go anywhere in DLC...

You know, I was all ready to vote for any plane of Oblivion, but now that you've brought up Hircine's realm, I'm changing my opinion to that. Could be pretty damn cool if it were done right.

Hung on Hircine's realm! Alongside the Daedric Prince as a werewolf! Oh how that would be awesome.

Summerset Isle or Valenwood, the landscape would be such a great contrast with Skyrim.

It would be especially cool if the Lycanism could spill over into the main part of the game, and you could continue on as a werewolf.

I'd like to go too the Summerset Isles for an expansion its warm tropical weather would be a nice change from the cold skyrim. It would have a very different style than the dark fantasy world of skyrim and could have all sorts of new enemies like evil sloads of tropical goblins. I would like too see the next game take place in Akavir though, I think that would be really cool.

Lycanthropy. Not Lycanism.

I'd really love to have an expedition to Atmora. Granted, it can't sustain life, but with a financed expedition should be able to survive for some time...

Umm why cant it sustain life exactly?

Atmora? That's an excellent idea for DLC.

One of Skyrim's surrounding provinces (so then it just needs to expand the map). Either Morrowind, High Rock, Hammerfell or Cyrodiil.
Morrowind would be cool because: We can see what it's like after the Red Year.
High Rock would be cool because: It is like Europe (from what I hear) and you could have Vampires and stuff (REAL vampires)
Hammerfell would be cool because: It is mostly desert (or at least part of it is) and Bethesda haven't done a desert setting.
Cyrodiil would be cool because: We can see how much has changed in 200 years. The ruined Empire, etc.

Lycanthropy. Not Lycanism.

My apologies, thank you for the correction. It would be nice if Lycanthropy spilled in to the main game after. =)

Akavir. I wanna see the Nevararine, or at least see what he accomplished when he was there.

As long as we go to Roscrea, I'll be happy. After that, I suppose I'd like to see Thras, and maybe a small part of Yokuda (preferably a part of the largest island). Bethesda said after Shivering Isles that they http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=23154, so unless they've changed their opinion since then, the largest we'll see is probably about the size of Point Lookout, which is still fairly large. Don't get me wrong, I'd love an even larger DLC, but I'm not expecting one.

I do not want to see a game in Akavir. There's too much there, and it just couldn't be fleshed out properly with anything but a full game or a needlessly large expansion. Even going to just a small part of Akavir would require coming up with A LOT of lore, more so than Roscrea or Thras. It deserves it's own game.

As for Orsinium, well, doing that in DLC would completely remove the only reason I ever wanted a game set in High Rock, which I personally view as the absolute most boring province. If Orsinium is in a DLC, Bethesda better come up with some damn interesting lore to make High Rock sound better than it's sounded so far.

Pyandonea is really something that should be a DLC for a game set in the Summerset Isles, for obvious reasons.

Atmora would be fine... but as has been mentioned earlier, the developers seem to like setting DLC/expansions in areas that are totally different from the main game, and I don't know if the prospect of making a barren wasteland of ice and ruins (and likely a colony from Skyrim) would be very attractive right now.

And the islands between the east coast of Tamriel and Akavir would best be visited in a game taking place in Black Marsh (and Morrowind) imo.

Edit: And I don't particularly want to see any Daedric Realms... I want to see things on Nirn.

I have a question. Are all the player characters from Elder Scrolls games (or at least from Morrowind onwards) Dovakiin? Because it would be awesome if in the next game we find ourselves on a prison ship another 200 years into the future sailing towards a covinct settlement on Akavir. You would be forced to work the land much like how Australia was founded, until the settlement is attacked and you're rescued by the Tiger Dragon because you're one of the few Dovakiin left after Skyrim's hero :)

Erm, no. Only your character in Skyrim will be a Dovahkiin.

Dammit. I figured that they were kinda like the "Heroes" in Fable how they're always the main characters and the only ones that can save the world. It could have been another trend, like how you start as a prisoner.

We should go to Vaermina's nightmare realms a place where every few moments, reality shifts to become even more horrifying. That would be a great DLC. It would be nicer if it was in the main game obviously.

If the player character in Oblivion was dragonborn there would have been absolutely no need for the game's main quest. You would just get the Amulet of Kings, walk out of the dungeon, head over to the IC, light the dragonfires, and boom, you just saved the world and the emperor only died 5 minutes ago.

High Rock isn't overly huge, it would be cool if some DLC simply extended the border of the game world to include High Rock, or maybe you could take a boat there.

I don't think so. The emperors are all Dragonborn, but that's because of bloodline, and I'm pretty sure it has to be from the bloodline of Tiber Septim, not just a dragonborn.

There was enough madnes for me. But certainly not enough cities! I mean this huge place with enormous ruins everywhere, suggesting a huge ancient civilisation and then 1 city about the size of an average one in Oblivion and about 5 or 6 small towns. Why do we always arrive in the land once all the good stuff is in ruin???

There were several different dragonborn bloodlines, the Septims being the most protected and important. There may have been more requirements for wearing the amulet but I don't believe any have actually been confirmed other than needing to be dragonborn.
