I want to be able to kill everyone again. But for the sake of gameplay and my sanity, just make the quest related npc's really hard to kill. Nothing more frustrating than feeling like I have to babysit every npc during a quest just so they don't stupidly die.

Besides, shouldn't people like jauffre and baurus, two of the highest ranking blades members be very difficult to kill? amirite?

Well, Jauffre is getting old, and Martin is just a priest/daedric mage, not a warrior.

Sorry, off-toic there.

Well at least just give them more health when they go on missions with you.

Jauffre is a seasoned veteran. And who said mages can't be powerful?

I think the way that Morrowind handled it was fine. You could kill quest NPCs, but there was a message that read, "With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed.
Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created." Simple, yet effective.

Well, he isn't really a mage. He just dabbled in daedric worhsip for a while, from what I understand. Then he became a priest.

Whatever Jafree and Martain's professions were it didn't matter, the entire story revolved arround you saving the day and whatever gamesas/Zeni does in the next installment that kind of thing has to go.

We didn't save the day in Oblivion. Martin did. Sure, we helped, but it was Martin who broke the amulet, summoned/became Akatosh, banishing Dagon's avatar and totally ending the crisis. By the end of the game, and in the eyes of the people of Tamriel, Martin was the hero. We were the side kick.

I would love for Daggerfall Character creation system. Also I don't ever rememeber Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind with invisible walls. Can we bring back no invisible wall again please?

As well, all the weapons back that were taken away. I loved how you joined one faction, and another faction would dislike you more. We need that back as well.

I miss actually having to use the map and read my journal to explore and find places. I really liked how artifacts were scattered all throughout Morrowind and having to explore to find them.

cliff racers

This. And until someone tells me a genuine reason why they should never be in TESV, I'm leaving it there.

As I said, genuine.

Flying creatures fly. Most birds are found all over the globe. And it's not exactly far from Morrowind to Skyrim. Creatures don't exactly abide by the rules of borders. The lack of Cliff Racers in Cyrodiil was just unrealistic and terrible. ESPECIALLY since they where apparently driven from Morrowind, in which case, they would have flocked to Cyrodiil and Skyrim and Black Marsh...

Either way, if I want to make an effort to be everyone's hero, the avenues should be open for me to do that.

The problem is that, unless I simply ignore the main quest, there is no way for me to decide to be selfish and decide to help myself out while screwing everyone else over.

Arena: The ability to go to all provinces. (impossible at the current tech level, I know)
Daggerfall: The religion system.
Morrowind: Spears and the Clothing/Armor slots, specially the pauldrons.
Oblivion: A (much better version of) AI.
