If you could buy a house in any town/settlement excluding cu

So I like being able to buy property, but I wish there was more available than just the houses in the five main settlements. I don't need a buyable house to be fancy, ornate or "different." If you could purchase property in any settlement in Skyrim, where would you want to live?

For me, I'd like to be able to buy property in Dawnstar or Falkreath. I really like The Pale and Falkreath Hold, and being able to have a house in either place would be great to use as a base for exploring the regions, which both seem to be pretty wild/untamed.

I would love to have a decent size farm with a big house in the country next to one of the lakes.

Yeah, I thought sometimes it'd be nice to have a place to myself on Lake Yorgrim (the big lake northwest of Windhelm). Such a picturesque setting up there.

Dawnstar in my game was good, until a couple dragons attacked it over the span of 10 days or so, now there is only about 3 people living there.

Kingswat, a similar thing happened to me at Rorikstead. Except it was 1 ancient dragon. And it was in the middle of the day and every town inhabitant decided to be outside, and they all decided to rush madly at the towering beast with their flabby arms and blunt daggers. They all died within about 30 seconds. Rorikstead is now a ghost town. There is literally not even one person still alive there.
