Vault 2, it is a vault with thousands of inhabitans who are living their daily lives in relative peace. Because it is a control vault. Because I'm getting pretty sick at all of these wild zany experiments.

What if it's a control vault and they tell the inhabitans it's a control vault just to mind game them into thinking it's not a control vault?

Vault 102

Everyone in the vault is convinced that they are in prison, and the overseer is the warden.

The Odd Couple Vault? The Odd Couple was hilarious back in the day and that actually sounds like a good vault experiment.

A vault where the men and woman are seperated and may not see each other for the whole year, they can visit each other just 1 day in the year.

Each "side" has his one overseer .

This experiment is to see how long the two poles can live without each other.

Will they become crazy ?

Or will they revolt and overthrow the overseer ?

And then there should be the Presidential Vault where all the heads of state die around a round table because all they packed away was lots of whiskey and rye (singing this will be the day that I die).

But Seriously. Presidental Vault: 3 women for every man. CIA men in black suits for everybody. Lots of whiskey and rye (I'd say hokers and blow, but think its been done in a movie). Any official letterhead to do whatever leaders of nations need when the nation is no more. And everybody gets their own pistol with one bullet. Oh! and a poster of Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned To Love The Bomb.

I would release chemtrails that poisons everything and use high-powered frequency antennas to heat up the ionosphere in order to change the weather, blame the results on cars and cow farts and see how many bought my bull***.

Oh, wait. It′s been done :glare:

Yes. But I like the number for this vault. That was very clever from the devs!

Vault -3.094

This vault stores Bethesda game studios staff in the game. They have been trapped in the game and have sent a message via radio asking for you to help them get back to reality by killing the NPC villain Tod Howard.

I would make a vault for only gamers and the experiement would be that they had to take turns developing games and then add annonamous posting about the game and if anyone raged how bad the game was they sercretely game them radiation in their food. I figure the gamers would self destruct pretty bloody quickly. Gamers have zero sense of proportion.

A vault for the narrator of the game who turns out to be Morgan Freeman imitating Ron Perlmans voice. If you kill him; you get to be the narrator and alter the lore, quests, enemies, items and even the environment without the time consuming inefficiencies of the geck.

Hell you can even turn the game into the universe we live in and make a forum about videogames.

Vault #

You find a small cliff front where boulders and rocks have covered the entrance from an earthquake. Over time and using strength and maybe help for NPC you clear the entrance. You find a small tunnel leading to a vault door which is damaged from the outside. Once you fix this you unlock the vault to find people living and thriving. They have lost all sense of time, it is completely unspoilt. They are living in complete peace.

Vault 122:

Heavily fortified Vault deep in the ground. Vault 122, through fake readings and later fake radio messages of the outside world gave the impression to it's inhabitants that the Great War never occurred and that it had been due to a false alarm that the Vault Dwellers were now trapped within the Vault and without any means to reopen the sealed Vault Door, which had been programmed for irreversible safety.

After violent initial uprisings the dwellers learned to accept their fate and to make best of the situation. With the fake broadcastings leading them to believe that America had won the war against the Chinese and now stood atop the world's hierarchy alone came messages of the true American heroes, those who would endure the lockdown in Vault 122 and who would either make the ultimate sacrifice or once return to the surface as testimonies to the American capability of overcoming any obstacle, even the profane, evitable and humiliating casualties of war. The ones held accountable for this mess had allegedly experienced justice.

50 years after the Great War, the Door finally reopened.

I don't know what happened next, but I think the whole experiment pointed toward this moment.

Is the vault leaking radiation and airborn FEV at the time of the great war? Cause that'd be an interesting mutant.
