If you could be a guard...

As far as playing a game goes, that'd be really boring. In the sense of a job, for doing which I would be paid, I'd be an Ordinator at Vivec. Their masks would get annoying after wearing them all day long -- I'd rather wear an actual helmet than a mask that you actually wear directly on your face -- but It'd be worth it to call people scum. It'd be like being a really mean police officer in New York City.

If I'd judge from what place I like the most in-game it would be Raven Rock. In reality, I'm not as certain, since it would be very cold, and your tasks would likely be something like "get that Grizzly out of the storehouse!" instead of escorting a loudmouthed drunk to a cell to sober up. So maybe Ebonheart would be better. Imperial garrison, which means less chance of Xenophobic bullying, good thick walls, the top of the Vvardenfell Imperial Cult, and judging from the people and the offices there, you're not likely to be undermanned. Also, Mournhold one spell away (if you manage to get permission to go there, of course). And I think I'll also add Pelagiad. Lovely town without much trouble.

In Morrowind: Probably Ebonheart. It's an important Imperial settlement not too far from Vivec, which means the pay would be good (especially with the opportunity for promotion) and I could go to the city for virtually anything I couldn't get otherwise. House Hlaalu being the local Great House should improve relations with the local dunmer. Also contrasts with other Imperial settlements such as Seyda Neen (too dull), Dagon Fell (too remote) or Fort Frostmoth (too cold).

Definitely a Duke's Guard in Ebonheart. I LOVE that cuirass, and the Imperial Shield looks nice, reminds me of when I used to study real-life ancient Roman culture!

Hand of Alamexia, They are so badass. Even with my level 30 guy I cant beat all of the hands+ Alamexia unless I put it on -100 difficulty AND cheat.

Vivec. I once put on a full suit of armor I "found" on a dead Ordinator, all because I wanted to be one. Well, they didn't take to kindly to that.

I would like to be a hand of Almalexia :)

Just an ordinator. I would like to walk around and tell random people who have done no crime, "we're watching you....scum"

Order of War ordinator at Ghostgate. :ninja:

The ordinator armour is the best. I'd love to be an ordinator in Mournhold.

Me i would have to be a Ordinator they are the toughest guards i remember when my character was slaughtering all the towns i didn't go near Vivec just so i wouldn't have to fight one and they shoot fireballs at you plus there armor is cool and Vivec has everything you need and its the biggest city in Vvardenfell my second choice is ebonheart just because that town looks like it has no real problems and the imperials seem to control everything but my main choice is Vivec best town in the game

Heheh, I'd make a very...er...shall we say, "Motive Questionable" Guard, but if I was forced into such a service I would like to be someplace with lots of water like Dagon Fel or Khuul, or a place with lots of action, like Vivec or Ghost Gate. I am one for beauity in nature as well, so maybe Tel Vos because of the location. I don't much like Tel Vos itself though.

Suran, because of that lovely little establishment near the Silt Strider.
