If you could have anyone as a companion, who would it be? and why?

I would roll with Easy pete, seems like a chill dood, i wouldn't mind seeing him chuck some Dyno-Mite! around the mojave and i know that old S.O.B has got some crazy stories to tell...

Harland and Chris Haversam because they both fit.

Harland because he doesn't believe in Jason's cult and was only there so he wouldn't be alone, but as he didn't want to leave for the stars he was left down on earth and has nowhere else to go.
And Chris Haversam because he flat out asks the player if (s)he wants him to with you.

A companion I would choose is not a person, something of greater power I had in mind.

Joshua needs no explanation and after I learned all about Ulysses I really wished he was a companion.

Marcus and Niel would be great too. I imagine walking down the street with a super mutant is kind of like walking down the street with a Pitbull...

I only did one Yes-Man playthrough, and soley because I wanted the trophy, and I absolutely hated it. His overly positive attitude and saying how certian things would be 'fun' or 'neat' almost felt like I was being condescended to like I was some brain dead child. I wish I could have just permanently shut Yes Man's annoying voice and face down for good. e_e

He does say some funny stuff though. "Did I say 'exploiting'? That's not a very nice word!" cracks me up every time. Of course I always go for House in the end, but hearing Yes Man out can be amusing.

Yeah, he is down on the launch pad in the game with the others as they take off.
That's what I find weird about it, it doesn't fit in.
I mean, he doesn't believe in Jason, he thinks Jason is a nut.
What could possibly change his mind to want to go with them at the last second?

So yeah, he 'apparently' goes with them, but I think it's incoherent and would rewrite it.
