Skingrad or Caldera. I also like Ebonheart.

I'd go for somewhere in northern Valenwood, a village near Falinesti.

If Morrowind wasn't, well, yeah, I'd have wanted to live in Sadrith Mora, or live a nomadic life in the Grazelands with the Ashlanders.

However, since Morrowind is unavailable, I think I'd stop past Anvil, explain my plight to Helena Aurelie and hopefully journey with her until we find a place to live. Anvil would be good, but I think I'd rather live in Skyrim or High Rock, and I'm sure Helena wants to see Jehenna again.

Camlorn, High Rock.

I would also take a lot of trips down to the summerset isles in winter if I have the money or am in good enough shape to make the adventure.

The warmest place in skyrim

That would probably be Senchal.

Personally, I would choose to settle in one of these

1. Granitehall (Skyrim)
2. Dwynnen (High Rock)
3.Shimmerene (Summerset Isle)

I love this one.

I have always gone with a thief or assassin class. My ES4 toon is Uma, a Dunmer assassin. Out of all of them Uma turned out best and I like the ES4 engine. Having played them all, I do like High Rock, but I'm KOS in Daggerfall. I would choose Anvil, Benirus Manor. It's a nice house and close to trade and travel. You could hit lots of places via sea travel and I like the coast. Bravil is close, because I like the Niben basin. My house there needs a little work though. I would use Benirus as a base, but I would absolutely travel. I'm a big fan so I want to go everywhere. See everything to the farthest corners of Tamriel. You could sail the west coast, around the horn to the east. The deserts of Hammerfell, the wild plains of Elsweyr, to the woods of Summerset and the misty mountains of Skyrim.

I wish they would just do the whole dang map. All of Tamriel. If they did an MMO, I would play it forever. *sigh* It would beat EQ and the rest, hands down. Thanks for the post!

Summerset Isle sounds nice -- if I could stand the stuck up Altmer long term.... <_<
