The Fallout world? Elder Scrolls world? Not a freakin' chance. Too much strife and conflict.

I'd choose to live in the My Little Pony world. Much better for my health.

Not your sanity.

Janny Wurts' world of Athera would be my number one.

If I had extra choices, then TES, followed by Star Wars followed by Mass Effect.

I don't want cancer so I'm going to avoid the Fallout worlds.

Star Trek. No, wait, then many other worlds would not be available for holo deck purposes, what with the Eugenics Wars and such, unless I travel to parallel universes.
...
Mass Effect then. But not Earth during 2187 through 2190. ^_^

Star Wars, I guess. But if I couldn't be a Jedi, I'd have to be a bounty hunter. Working for a Hutt. But staying off of grated flooring.

Star Wars hands down. Either during Revan's time or to see the fall of the Empire from the films.

So, a world where Time Dragons and Daedra will horribly kill you and time itself can break, a world threatened by a massive horde of sentient Machine-ships that created FTL travel and have superior tech, and a parody of real life.

We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Only in the world I imagine , which in short of fantasy worlds I create. But I like to be in a time with spaceships and warp drives and what not.

so thats why I feel excruciating pain every now and then. I thought I had appendicitis, but really I am just getting shot in the stomach by some machine gun carrying guy shouting things in some language I don't understand...

if that was really the case, then I would be pretty ticked. I would make sure I would break free and then go destroy the computer that is making the world fake. I'd be like Christian Bale!!! Except my acting would be better...

Don't you mean that other guy who can't act in any movie, instead of just that one where he fights a computer? Confusion. Gaah!

well if you know who christian bale is, then you will know what I am talking about! I like him best in batman where he sounds like a dog that got his vocal cords removed from barking so much.

anyway!!!! Now that DarthRavenger destroyed my childhood hopes and dreams I am going to switch my answer.

I guess I would say that I would only want to live somewhere where it is safe. aka- animal crossing, harvest moon. I'm not sure if my little pony is safe... you never know what them poneies

Stalker Universe. Reason. I love chernobyl, what happened there is a mark to us all of the powers of nuclear power.

Side note. In my lifetime I hope to see prototype fission batteries.

Hmm, my first pick would be Toril(forgotten realms world). After that, in no particular order, Slayers Universe, Dragonball Z universe(only as a powerful being though. They have all the fun), Naruto Universe, and Elder Scroll Universe.

Without a shadow of a doubt, I would live aboard the Rama spacecraft that Arthur C. Clarke created in the Rendezvous with Rama series. I've never been captivated with a book as much as I was with this one. Just the uncomprehendingly enormous scale of the ship that Clarke details is enough to make me want to live there for eternity.

If you haven't read that series, you definitely should. It puts all other authors to miserable shame in my opinion.

I'm also gonna say Harry Potter.

The Elder Scrolls is too violent and there isn't enough entertainment for me, it's all hard work and I kinda svck at that. I would be a great magician I think, but I'm also able to be a magician in Harry Potter, and there I can keep my internetz.

Good plan, but I'd avoid Hutts. UNless you're a Jedi Protagonist you don't have immunity from being killed by Hutts under any circumstances.

Star Wars hands down. Either during Revan's time or to see the fall of the Empire from the films.

Both are bad ideas. Revan's time saw the Galactic Republic on the brink of collapse (greater chance to die in war or have a svcky life), and fall of the empire would most likely mean you will live long enough to be killed by the Yuuhzan Vong.

Well, you could be a sayyan, but unless you get hit in the head at birth like Goku, you won't care about "fun" anymore. :P Sayyans are naturally competitive, violent, angry, and ruthless.

But powerful beings aren't the only ones who have fun. Krillin is a human, and he's cool. The androids have powers too. Trunks is half sayyan, and he's got powers. There's also Hercule's daughter who was completely normal, but then Gohan taught her how to fly.

So yeah, humans can have fun in DBZ universe too! :D

Half-Life universe

I hear a lot of people saying this. Why would anyone want to live in a dystopian world? Do that many of you really want to "pick up the can"?

Probably one of those cheesy erotic novels. I'd be Antoine, the tall, muscular stable hand.
