Fallout universe, Elder Scrolls universe , Half-Life universe

So, risk radiation poisoning, starvation, and war between tribal pseudo-states, or risk getting killed by everything from the gods, both Aedric and Daedric, to getting killed by mudcrabs, or live in a dystopia and turn into a headcrab zombie.

Me? So many choices...

The Elder Scrolls world.
The Star Wars universe.
The Halo universe.
The Dragon Age universe.
The A Minecraft world!
The World of Warcraft universe.
The Unreal universe.
Maybe the Borderlands universe.

EDIT: Oh, and the Dead Space world, even though I'm sure I would die. But hey, it'd be fun trying to outrun the Necromorph!

Fallout universe if I could be as godly as my character. If not, Elder Scrolls or Assassin's Creed 2 & Brotherhood, or Percy Jackson, as a demi-god. Son of Poseidon or Apollo. (Apollo would be the best dad ever.)

You guys are all weird.

Please bear in mind that living in these worlds likely does not include cheat codes, mods or autosaves.

The one world to stay clear of is Devil may Cry version of Earth. Way too many ways to die horribly from a demonic incursion.

DMC? That's Candyland. Now, Warhammer 40000, that's the universe to avoid. There, you've got demonic incursions, Ork incursions, Tyrannid incursions, and in general, neverending war against over dozens of enemies on thousands of fronts. And you're just as likely to be killed by your own government, either as a suspected traitor, spy, heretic, or just as a "neccessary sacrifice," or entirely due to a clerical error, like say, forgetting to ship food to your planet. And even death will not offer any solace, for your soul could still be at the mercy of the forces of Chaos.

True, but some evil bastard could position your vita-chamber horizontally over a large drop and remove the glass front, so you spend all eternity going AHHHHHH-SPLAT-revive-AHHHHH-SPLAT-revive-AHHHH... you get the idea.

Warhammer 40k is easy. Just send the SPHESS MEHRENS, namely, the SPHESS MEHRENS of the Ultramarines, and Games Workshop will ensure victory.

What if you're not on their side? What if they deem you expendable? Or view you as a traitor? You're [censored], plain and simple!

ITT: People who have a death wish

I would probably want to live in the Futurama world. It's in the future, scientists have invented magic, and it's relatively safe.

-seconding Discworld.. I'm surprised only one person has mentioned it so far (if I'm not mistaken).
-some sort of steampunk world would be pretty cool.
-maybe the Wheel of Time world or The Witcher world.
-Asterix world. If I was a member of his village of course.

I hear a lot of people saying this. Why would anyone want to live in a dystopian world? Do that many of you really want to "pick up the can"?

I can't really describe why I would want to live in one of these worlds, everything yall are saying is true and makes since, but there is just something appealing about them to me.

Star Wars hands down. Either during Revan's time or to see the fall of the Empire from the films.

Star Wars definately. I agree with the time just before clone wars.

Star Trek. Then I'd create all the different worlds in the holodeck. :)

...but then you'd never want to leave and you'd go crazy from living a perfect one and wouldn't want to come back to an imperfect one.
Cracked teaches you many things.
On topic, probably Earth. I'm happy enough right now, especially considering how most game, book, and movie universes that I like are in termoil.
Edit: not saying that I like the games/movies/books because of that, I just like action and fiction stuff, so most of it is in termoil.

My top choices would be:

Star Wars, just before the Clone Wars start.
Harry Potter, during all of the events of the book.
The Elders Scrolls, post-Oblivion Crisis.

I think the Lord of the Rings world would be a great one to live in post Sauron. Think of all the fantastic things you could see: ents, Minas Tirith, the Misty Mountains, elves, etc.

Equestria, duh.

Also, I wouldn't mind living in Ghost in the Shell's setting or Middle-Earth.

Rapture, pre-civil war. Actually during the civil war too. After it wouldn't be bad either, I just want to live in Rapture! :shakehead:
