Title says it all and I know the game is not out yet but when it comes out what kind of modifications will you make

I know that I will be making some custom weapons and armour

I'm already a part of a team that will be trying to add the rest of Nirn to Skyrim. As the game isn't out yet we are doing concepts and stuff like that. http://z15.invisionfree.com/Tamriel_Complete

But I am going to rehash some of my old mod ideas like a disguise mod, an unkillable character mod (with some sort of respawn feature, not god mode). I also plan on releasing a bunch of little tweaks to get me used to the CK. Things like killing unkillable characters (both important people and those other guys... you know... the short ones), different timescales, how different in game things work, etc.

Finally, if there aren't a lot of people walking on roads this time around I'm going to add a bunch of them, as well as make it appear that they go to other provinces.

I think I'll finally try out making a mod with Skyrim. I think it'll be a quest, since I don't have the know-how to make custom armor or weapons.

I haven't done much outside of a few personal tweaks for the last few Elder Scrolls games. If I did get more into modding this time around, I'd probably do something with adding more ambient NPCs.

I'll make a house for myself, that'll be the first proper mod I do, I might fix some balance or tweak some item stats and the like for personal use, but the house will likely be the first thing i release. Then once I've found a good location for it, I'll start work on the tavern "The Spotted owl".

I'd probably add creative perks and spell effects (with recycled animations).

After that I'd find cool places that i'd want to use as hideouts, add fast travel points as well as safe containers and a bed, and seal them off with terrain and a locked door that you have to solve a puzzle to get the key for.

Invisible headwear because I take time making a face and hair only to stick a helmet over the head blocking all my hard creative work. A magically protective headband or balaclava would be fantastic instead of a view obstructing helmet

spears (assuming they are not in)
Spell making (the same as above)
crossbows(again, heard that maybe they were coming back but idk)
throwing weapons
skills like merchantile, athletics.

you can pretty much see where I am going with this, I would mod all the stuff they took out that was good and for some reason they are leaving behind.

I've got a fair bit of experience with creating and UV mapping models, so I may make and import some new buildings and create a new map area.. nothing too big, though.

If I actually make one, it'll just be a house in the mountains with some NPCs representing my roomies. :) As much as I'd love to say I'll make some wonderful grandiose quest or something, I won't, I'm still relatively new to modding. >.<

If I could, I would totally make a Legend of Zelda mod, just because Nintendo will never take the IP the direction it should go.

Aside from that, have to play the game before I could make any decisions.

I suppose I'll have to see what the game is lacking first, I like experiencing the game as the devs intended but if something is obviously wrong I'll try to fix it

more things that popped into my head.

HUD, that doesn't disapear. because I like knowing where my health is before I am being attacked. (its kinda important for sneaky characters)

class names, not necesarily bringing back major and minor skills but just the option to have a class name. for role play.

It will most likely be fine the way it is, and I would like to play the entire game of Skyrim before considering modding it, because I want to know excatly what is what and possible things able to be modded. But I might feel cocky and make a Master Marksman trainer called Kerris Vinchis \/ see sig :P

Would hate to give away my ideas, but then again I'll probably won't have the time to implement this :hehe: . So some other more competent modder might as well give a go at it:

An ancient city of the dead, built using monolithic rock within a canyon. What's so special about it you ask? That the undead are unkillable. After you break apart a skeleton, it will reassemble itself after a minute and keep pursuing you. After a while you'll have a whole swarm of them chasing you, so be careful no to get cornered! The backstory is that the city was once a very profitable mining location, but the profits came at the expense of the slaves, treated at times worse than animals by their masters. Eventually things reached a point where their patience has been exhausted, and they sought vengance on their oppressors no matter the cost. One day, a necromancer visited the city and felt compassion for the slaves. To help them get their revenge, he instilled them with a spell that, once they died, they would revive as the living dead that pursues the same hatred they did in life. Boldened by this, the slaves started a rebellion and assaulted everyone else in the city in a mad, indiscriminate rage. Though the town guard was well armed, any time they slew a rebel, he would just get back up and keep fighting as a corpse, still filled with rage against the oppressors. Hence noone could stop them, only slow them down. Slowly but surely, the guard's numbers dwindled, and the butchery consumed the whole city, until the dead were the only things left in it's stone halls, still filled with neverdying rage. The objective of the quest is to find whatever keeps reviving the dead in this forsaken place and destroy it, to finally lay the forlorn city to rest.

A few small tweaks for things that I find annoying. After that possibly a quest mod. Nothing of the scale of my Oblivion mod though. :P
