If you could make a Vault...

If you could make a Vault, what would it be? What test would be conducted inside its airtight walls? Where would it be? What would the expected result be?

I would make a Vault somewhere somewhere (doesn't really matter) like Vault 19, except the Vault doors would open after 150 years, but one group (Red/blue) got to leave first, and the next group would leave 50 years after. The expected result would be a war between the two groups once after the second group left, with the first group winning because they've had 50 years of experience in the wastes whereas the second group wouldn't have nearly as much.

I'd make a perfectly safe control vault, with a working GECK and only the orders to stay in until the all clear signal is given. In other words, I make a vault with the intent of actually saving lives. Perhaps so they could join the Enclave later.

Or I'd make one designated to continue research on a particular subject, but have it still be perfectly safe.

But if it has to be a crazy-experiment Vault. <_<...... I'd place a large number of robots of all makes (protectons, robobrains, sentry bots, mister gusty's) into a Vault, with them having no clear allegiance to anyone within the vault, and with the inability to attack Vault-dwellers unless ordered to by whoever they felt was their "leader". The vault would also have the capability to make more robots in several different areas. There would also be no clear overseer and no vault armory aside from some peace-keeping police batons.

Expected result: A civil war would eventually break out within the vault, with robots in the facility being divided and "persuaded" to fight for different vault "warlords". The fighting would be concentrated around the strategically placed robot production areas.

Reason for experiment: No idea. But a robot war would be awesome to watch. B)

Vault 61-
Fifty couples were put into a Vault with two of each animal and enough food and water to keep every animal and all of the people alive and healthy. They were tasked to live their for fifteen years and then set the animals free. However there was a "problem" with the ventilation system and a small but steady stream of radiation was infecting their water supply. Most of the animals died or became sterile but a few adapted and became mutants. Vault-Tec had made this problem, they also made it so that it so that there was no Rad-X or Rad-Away in the Vault. Thirty of the couples became ghouls while the rest died.

Vault (# Here): No colour at all in the Vault. All books, pictures, video, all in Black and White. The walls, floor and ceiling, all the same shade of grey. All food was a grey nutritional paste which they had a 50 year supply. No plants or animals. Even the Vault suits were a unique grey colour. All paint and art supplies, you guessed it grey. The only colour in the Vault would have been the colour of peoples eyes/hair. The Vault was designed to stay closed for 50 years.

Vault (# Here): 999 blind people and one man with only one eye that can see. The Vault was not given an overseer and nothing is in braille.
