I assume you're talking about
Spoiler
the Night Mother?
If so, then yes.

Nope, who would listen, and what could they do as it seems unlikely what is below can be affected unless it wishes to be.
Plus secrets are meant to be kept.

Hmm, I'm not sure what quest this is associated with. Better not look at the spoiler, then. Don't wanna ruin it for myself.

No, because the idea is that it's a secret... not much of a secret if everybody knows about it.

I would tell the Count and let him and his skooma addicted son deal with that can of worms.

No matter how good and righteous would be my char, I doubt I'd tell them. They would do nothing, and the useless Count even less. And besides, it'd be putting my own life in serious danger (I don't think the DB would appreciate me for revealing their secrets) for nearly nothing.

On the other hand, telling that to Ocato, or some high-ranking Legion official and to be granted a sanctioned total town destruction a-la-Hackdirt...that's another thing :D

Not sure, I haven't read any posts yet because this is yet another thing I haven't discovered. I'd have to know what it is first, and then it'd probably depend on my character.

No.

My character is a smart cookie. He's not about to put his life in great danger by telling everyone this terrible secret when chances are great that they'll think him a raving lunatic.

Plus, he serves Sithis anyway, so why would he?

in my game there are daedroth living under them also. they come up to the surface a lot and killed a few guards and the Argonian, Reenum. I took it up upon my self to protect bravil from these creatures. Would never tell them about the night mother, but they know of the daedroth and just continue living normally.

No.
The Bravil citizens already live in what's basically the Oblivion equivalent of poverty. Why make their lives any harder? I MIGHT tell the guys in the skooma den as skooma is illegal, and a few jackasses in Bravil here and there such as the orc at the hunt quest (can't remember his name nor the name of the quest, but he lies to you and the quest is spring-loaded with TONS of glitches).

Though I guess my opinion is somewhat biased.
I come from a lower middle-class family and am generally pretty poor myself, so naturally I'm somewhat empathetic to Bravil. I figure: "Hey, when you're poor; you're poor. Do whatcha gotta do."

Do not betray the Brotherhood's secrets. To do so is to invoke the wrath of Sithis. Read up on your tenets, guys

Exactly, I wouldn't want to be spilling the secrets of the Brotherhood, or they'll spill my blood. Besides, isn't it presumable that if you were to tell the secret that then the secret would move to a new location?
Finally, given the amount of skooma flowing through Bravil, who would believe you anyway?
