Find the highest point and leap off. It's an urge I choose not to explain.

I would think so. It's one of those complaints everyone made. Not just Oblivion haters.

Technically you won't be able to join the Mages Guild. Sorry, felt like being a smart-alic. :P

But I'll probably do the main quest or go off exploring.

This.

How do we even know if any of those factions will be in the game? For all we know the game will take place several hundred years later than Oblivion and Morrowind and all of those factions may have been disbanded, or not have any significant status or size in the game's setting.

Whatever the factions in the new game will be, I'll most likely explore the world a bit before doing any quests or factions.

Really though, I doubt the Mages Guild will exists. According to "current" lore of the 4th era, the Mages Guild is no more and there are 2 different "Guilds" in place of it. The College of Whispers and Synod.

I'd join the Synod if I could choose... because the name is cooler than the other "mage's guild". :shifty:

I just hope they don't make it another emo puppy killer convention, like they did in Oblivion, and sort of in Morrowind. I like depth to my guilds, Bethesda. Depth, please!

Meet all of the people in one city and establish myself as a citizen by raising everyone's disposition through speech-craft and bribes. Then I'll mod myself a house and bask in the glory of the unexplored world, only venturing out for specific reasons, so that I can get a feel of the city's atmosphere.

After I've lived that up for a while, I'll start a character to run off and quickly do the MQ, and then my extreme amounts of roleplaying, modeling, texturing, and building will start. :)

I agree TOTALLY. I could go on for hours ranting about the DB, but I won't. I remember everyone else who played Oblivion near me(my brother, people at school) thought they were all hardcoe because they joined the Dark Brotherhood. I joined the DB and was disgusted, can't there be a GOOD assasin for once.

I have to say join thieves guild... its how I've started TES 3 and TES 4, and I have to keep with a tradition here.

Edit: Or whatever equivalent there is to the Thieves Guild, anyway.

Or how about just having morally grey guilds instead of this good vs evil crap that every game not just TES has.

On topic I'll probably start the main quest since that usually introduces many of the gameplay mechanics in game so I'll be able to better wrap my mind around the awesomeness the game will be.

Go into the CS and make "The Adoring Fan" Find some cliff and jump...

Honestly i would sit there in Awe while downloading it, Then go into the main menu and sit there staring at the menu in Awe

Edit: XDeath, "Good Assassin" is exactly what I dislike if i want to be a good guy i would play assassin Creed

They shouldn't be evil assassins, either. Not good and not evil. Just killing for money, not for the sake of being evil and worshiping a Daedric Prince under the guise of the Night Mother and something that literally doesn't exist. (Sithis)

This.

I didn't mean to say Good Assassin, just had to counter Oblivions Evil emos.

The Orc Guy there mentioned that he killed a little Nord girl at her birthday party.

1. What kind of a person would kill a little girl at her birthday party for money?
2. What kind of a person would order a little girl to be killed at her birthday party?

They need the assassins to be less blatantly evil, for sure.

Defintally, but while the Assassins were evil, someone had to first envoke the night mother's ritual and then pray for that little girl to be killed, imo the person that did that is just as evil as the people that actually did it, but i would like to have a government sanctioned assassins thing, so your not killing for petty reasons or revenge but for the good of the law, well the law as the king sees it, or the council. but i would think for the most part you'd be killing people that deserve it more so than the little girl anyway. anyway when i first start TES:V ill finish up the tutorial and then hopefully click a button that disables it for future games and then probably start the main quest before trying to find out if i can join an assassins guild :P

Seems to be somewhat of an oxymoron. You're a person that kills other people for money. How much of a benevolent spin can you put on that?

I will go to town and sell whatever loot I have... If no loot i will raid a few dungeuns and then find cheap ways to make a quick buck for say the first 500 septims if the money system is like oblivions. Then I will buy some decent gear and explore randomly trying to find freeform quests.
