Since it's not even announced yet, I foresee a lock to this thread.

Buy a new PC..........then join the School of Julianos.

But we have to wait for it to be announced first, to see if they give me my School back. :sadvaultboy:

I love exploring.

I think the topic is fine.

I'll probably start the main quest and mostly stick with it until the end. I'm certainly dabble with some misc. quests and maybe a faction as well as do a little free-roam adventuring but I'll save most of this for later characters.

Completing the main quest quickly makes it far easier to help out in the spoiler forum. Chances are by the end my character will be pretty broken as well which will allow me to make a far better character for really exploring the game. My first time through Fallout 3 I maxed out my energy weapon skill before the cyborg perk and the energy weapon bobble head - I felt pretty stupid. My first time through Oblivion I took lockpicking as a class skill and then discovered I hated the minigame so that wasn't fun.

Freddo is the one that hates threads like this. I guess we'll see.

What I would do is everything I shouldn't be doing. Crime, trying to cross borders, etc.

Technically you won't be able to join the Mages Guild. Sorry, felt like being a smart-alic. :P

But I'll probably do the main quest or go off exploring.

I'll start modding (thus, picked "other" since this wasn't an explicit option).

Exploring the land, and trying to discover the cities and settlements of the province while testing the new features on TES V (new physics system? new atmospheric effects rendering? new AI?). :P

Race to the forum to complain about why it's terrible compared to the earlier games.

Make a character. Then Main quest, because I don't want to have to protect anyone from a level 20 enemy again. Then I'll do any guilds I particularly like, along with any and all sidequests I discover along the way.

Probably go through the tutorial, which will most likely involve me getting out of some type of prison, learning the fist bit about my greater destiny, and creating a character. Then I will do the first couple missions of the MQ, then run off and become master of the Fighters Guild.

I will start the main quest. It is a good way to get acquainted with the land and it normally gets you traveling all over the province. I also can not wait to explore. Be it Skyrim, Summerset, or even Valenwood I know that BGS is gonna make the landscape beautiful and world looking at.

I won't count the main quest since we'll probably be forced into it right away.

Aside from that I'll probably just explore and dike around, do random quests and get better gear until I really feel like sinking my teeth into the main quest.

Why is Join The Dark brotherhood here? We don't even know if they will be in the next game. Morrowind had the Morag Tong, and I don't know what Daggerfall had.

I would probably...
JIZZ, IN MY PANTS

But in all seriousness, after i got out of whatever tutorial starts out, i'd probably just walk around, and enjoy the scenery, maybe go to whoever i'm supposed to talk to for the MQ, but (assuming the graphics are amazing) 'd probably go climb something tall and see what i can see.

Probably do what I did when I started Morrowind - steal as much as I can from the nearest trader and sell it back to them for a tidy profit.

Depending on the character I make I might start the main quest or I might do some hunting up in the mountains.
