I think Archimedes said this before, or something like that, i'm not sure...

The question is : "why do u want more powerful weapons, armors and so on? is this part of the game?"

It's sort of funny if archimedes said that, because in Fallout one of the most powerful weapons created is named after him.

Yeh, Given the fact it was named after him, as he tried to implement the idea of a Death Ray, using reflective shields to concentrate the sun's rays to burn enemy fleets, in the harbor. That's a far cry from a 9mm.

EDIT : I really don't know how to answer the OP. In regards to the later of the question..Yes, it's part of the game.

The 9mm is great for dispatching the random Freeside Thug, stray Fiend or even a lone Cazador (though I'd advise against using a 9mm vs a swarm of them)... =p

It seems that satelites with a rangefinder gun are much more effective than mirrors.

Yupyup! It's all I use these days. Cleared out the cavern with the legendary deathclaw just with that.
I had to cheat and bring Christine's rifle to the Promonory on the other side of the river though :sadvaultboy:

Ok to be honest, I think too much weapon, ammo, armors, ruins the game. No i didn't play any mod, don't care... But when i see a box with the "dépouilles" of people i fought with before, I think : ....

Edit : of course reffering to this kind of dlc with no challenge and some bonus guns...

Re-edit : Yes I wear Graham armor... found it in a box... epic story...

You must forgive an old man, with a failing mind. I have no idea what you're talking about. One of the simplest machines maybe? Like screw, wedge, lever...

I don't either, because i'm on 360... but since i can't use mods, i never say no to more stuff. why? because every time you role play you might use different stuff right?

Edit: In real life you got a [censored] load of stuff too choose from, even if you don't use everything, you still have a choice right?

Re-edit: RPG right?

I'll stick with mah .357 and .44 magnums, may fire and reload slower but it takes alot less gunfire from a .44 Magnum to stop a deathclaw.

I preordered my copy of NV from EB Games so I got the Classic pack which among other thing, gives me the Weathered 10mm Pistol. Since I get this at the beginning it just makes a 9mm pistol redundant. I'll still carry it for a bit as backup, but I sell it as soon as I get the gun that has saved me more then any other weapon: Lucky. I do eventually leave Lucky at my hideout when I start going after the more powerful enemies, but that gun will always be special.
My top three favourite pistols:
3: 12.7 mm Pistol
2:Ranger Sequioa
1: Lucky

PS: I am currently using the Silenced 12.7mm Pistol.

"Lucky" actually played pretty big for me in Old World Blues. It has got me out of a number of tight situations, gotta love it's critical chance multiplier!
