I have to say however your community responce is poor. The reason why certain multiplayer games thrive is because the problems are fixed nearly as soon as they are found by the developers. They also really take their time to respond to the community when they can. Treyarch are a perfect example of this. I understand that Crytek may be limited by the size of their team (they are still large but not as successful as other companies as it currently stands), but their reaction time has been too slow. It took around 2 weeks for the first batch of multiplayer issues to be fixed, then another 2 for the next batch. Oh yes, and the major issues have STILL not been solved. Hell, you even have to release a PC patch for features promised to be there on launch day "a few months" later.
The multiplayer will never have a shot at being a big contender now. It'll just have a small hardcoe community. It's already dropped off the Xbox Live top 10. Thanks for trying, Crytek. But you've failed at making the next big thing already. There's no way to redeem it now.
Well, there's always Crysis 3.
