You say "we were constrained" were you on the dev team for NV?

Can't seem to remember the "explanation given in dialog maybe I never let house live long enough to get that far in it.

It's no secret that New Vegas had a lot of content cut out for time constraints. The Strip and Caesar's Legion in particular were trimmed down. It's also why New Vegas was so much more buggy on launch than the usual Bethesda fare.

Fallout 3 referenced Boston with the Replicated Man and some other random dialog topics about the Commonwealth. It was referenced further in Broken Steel (one of the main story NPCs left to join the Institute) and Poin Lookout (IIRC Desmond came from the Institute, or was associated with them in some way).

Really?! Wow it was pretty much handed to you once you got to rivet city, unless you stumbled upon it earlier. Could get some really good rewards too.

I just never listened to anything Zimmer or that woman said about robots on the run. My characters were often, 'Yeah, sorry 'bout that but I've got other things to do so ta-ta!' One of my characters never even visited Rivet City.

No idea why people would be so hyped up about New Orleans as a setting, I live here. New Orleans is a tourist town with nothing to tie into the FO universe as far as I know. The whole voodoo mysterious thing won't get you far as a main story line.

New York would've been a good setting I think, all I'm going to say is Camp Hero. That would be a interesting place to visit given it's history.

But I'm fine with Boston as it's a pretty central location which might lead to dlc in other north eastern areas.

And I want to see a leveled Fenway Park 馃憦 Go Yanks!!!

Oh my God they were so annoying. Zimmer was such an a-hole. I can respect ignoring them.

I hate to tell you, but it looks like Fenway park became a bustling settlement called Diamond City. Tunnel Sox rule!

That's my favorite part of the trailer and the thing I'm most excited to see.

Overall, not big on Boston. Didn't want it to be the setting when I heard the rumors years ago, still would have preferred it not being the setting now, but I'm less against it than I was previously. Personally would have preferred Washington/Oregon area, Montana, the Dakotas, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Louisiana/Mississippi, and most especially my home state of Arizona.

Arizonans represent, yo. Too bad our home was an utter craphole before Caesar took it over. (then again, that would have been a pretty cool setting)

Well I'm not an American myself, so I didn't had any chance to feel that special thrill of seeing the city I'm living in, in the game.

I don't know much about Boston though, don't remember seeing it in other games or movies, so it will be new to me. But I'm happy that it doesn't take place in NY. With so many games and movies taking place on NY I feel like I have learnt all of its sights, squares, and districts, even without ever stepping my feet there.

I'd like to see San Francisco though.

THANK YOU! Finally someone says it. I, too, am getting really tired of games and movies being set in New York City so this will be a heavy breath of fresh air. Bring it on, Boston!
