I was wondering is this would be a good laptop for gaming temporarily until I can get a desktop of my own for hardcoe gaming, I mean I know it probably won`t run max on everything but at least medium with a decent framerate?

Don`t mean to be off topic about Skyrim, but I really do want to play it on a pc and not my xbox as I am trying to transition to pc gaming, I know a little more than average about computer parts but I`m not to sure.

At least the intel i7 should be able to handle the job! 4GB of memory should also be enough. check for benchmark reviews for the graphics-card.
