You guys want more aquatic enemies?

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 2:55 am

I know I certainly do. The water areas of Oblivion were practiclly empty apart from the occasional slaughterfish and the OP mudcrabs in it. But they should definitely put in aquatic Dreughs (spelling), underwater dungeons, better underwater treasure chests with some sort of cool unique loot and maybe more varieties of the super-cool Mudcrab.

Any thoughts? the occasional quest underwater to kill unique creatures would rock too.

No, I don't want more. I hate aquatic enemies. Most magic doesn't work underwater, and melee fighting is a pain. It's just a hassle and an annoyance to fight things underwater. I hate it in pretty much every game.

Also, underwater dungeons? Not everyone is an Argonian.

Emperor Crabs, Krakens, Sea serpents, bring it on! Fishing would also be great. Harpoons anyone?

It is wet. You are likely to be eaten by a Dreugh.

Don't really care. As long as there's more underwater beauty (not just plain land...maybe some grass or seaweed or fish).

yes! more water enemies would be cool but I would rather have just normal sea life like fishes and eels and also fishing.

I'm not that interested in aquatic enemies, but more aquatic life? Definitely.

There's an ocean to the north of Skyrim, and i'd love to see giant sea monsters... even if I don't get to fight them. Just seeing them, hearing the locals talk about them, etc. would add to the epicness of the world.

I agree fully.
It would be really cool and make exploration so much more fun and alive.
Should be lots of friendly and different kinds of fish, and some dangerous underwater creatures as well. Also... an occasional sea monster in deep, dangerous waters. Should also be underwater grottos and caves; it creates a rich diversity for dungeons which can be really exciting once you find them. I remember that in Morrowind. There should also be the occasional shipwreck, and lost treasure at the bottom of the ocean :D

Win....

I think there SHOULD be more enemies, or if not, just more life than your stupid slaughterfish. For pete's sake, it needs variety.

What is a dreugh? The dreugh is a sinister, lurking presence in the wet places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of land. No grue has ever been seen on the surface, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

It ALL depends on the level of aqueous combat you can perform. The more I can do, the more faces I want in game to smash, in every possible combat situation.

If there was more loot underwater, I could deal with the underwater enemies if we had enough underwater combat options. Those things are inter-dependent to me. I agree about it being more beautiful too. FNV had some really beautiful underwater scenes and those were a lot of fun to explore...one cave in particular had some great loot and my characters all love to go swimming and get clean. :)
