If you had to choose to use just 1 weapon

Post » Wed Aug 21, 2013 11:45 am

Suppose you had to choose only just one weapon the entire game, DLC content included, which weapon would that be? And why?!

For me it would be a hard choice between the Riot shotgun and the .45 Auto SMG. :tops:

Why? The Riot shotgun for his fierce raw power and the .45 auto SMG is just a great gun to use, especially equipped with the silencer. :gun:

Probably the Ranger Seqouia due to it's raw awesome power. Or alternatively the Hunting Revolver with scope. I'm just an old fashioned cowboy =)

I'll take the hunting rifle, (I have the mod that allows you to add and remove mods as you please). Probably the most versatile weapon in the game.

Annabelle.

[censored] the system, no kill like overkill. It handles everything from a Radroach to a pack of furious Deathclaws.

Hunting Shotgun. With Gun Runners' Arsenal it has an ammo type for every enemy and situation.

Buckshot for common enemies, magnum buckshot for tougher enemies, slugs for long range, pulse slugs for robots, flechettes for armored enemies, dragon's breath for burning things, and coinshot for irony :hehe:

if there was unlimited ammo for it, the alien blaster. but i will say the riot shotgun, with the two perks for it it becomes a deathclaw killer.

I have to say I fell in love wth this baby after Honest Hearts. This weapon is a beast with all the ammo types.

I second this. The hunting shotgun's ammo varieties to deal with EVERY situation you come across. It's only problem is that you can't put a scope on it, which is why I picked the hunting rifle.

Survivalist's Rifle. With JHP ammo from GRA this baby can pump out some crazy DPS. When you combine 100 damage per shot with that thing's fire rate and accuracy you have one awesome weapon. The bent front sight actually works better than an unbent one as the very tip of the bent over right prong of the front site is the perfect aim point.

This baby cleared out the quarry full of deathclaws with ease. If you fire a burst at a deathclaws legs manually you can easily cripple it and then head shot it.

Also, due to the sheer damage per shot of this rifle JHP ammo does more damage than normal ammo on anything with 20 DT or less.

Katana. I'm interested in the samurai anyway but to be able to use this in the game is incredible. Fast deadly and so much more impressive than blasting someone.

I can't wrap my head around shotguns. I've tried to use'em, but I always find myself switching to a rifle for long range and then back to a revolver at short range. I don't really use SMGs either. I do my killing at range or up close. I'd like to use the shotguns more, but I just never seem to be in a good situation for it.

well shotguns only get worth it after you get shotgun surgeon and maybe "and stay back." also shotguns have so much different ammo for so many different situations it has all your bases covered.
