No one's saying you can't have a dissenting opinion, but now the burning question is: do you?

Apparently mine is different from yours and Lord Hyamentar's. But hey, some sources say that Trinimac killed Lorkhan. I just don't see enough evidence to justify branding someone as a murderer.

But you're acting like they were two guys on CSI, not deities dueling on a cosmic scale in a place with no laws of nature besides an enforced linear time frame mere seconds old. You don't have the right to judge them or label them. All you can do is listen to the stories that all mortals tell. 100% of the "evidence" points to a similar result.

But as much as I listen to a few stories, I won't get any real information out of it. Because they have no real information.

Then why are you here? With that perspective 90% of lore is pointless.

1. Because I can be.
2. Because I prefer to stick to the stuff that can be proven, at least to a point. And there's nothing quite like arguing over something that can't be proven either way.

Nothing can be proven about God. Don't you know the falsification, verification or via negativa principles!?

Hircine or Sheogarath. I would rather be a crazy, mad, insane, murdoraous, but HILARIOUS lunatic, than a boring, semi-haired priest.

Can I put down Yismir, the Dragon God of the Nords? I think he would be a sweet master.

I would say one of the Daedra that I like more, like Hircine or Sheogorath, but the Daedra don't care about mortals enough for me to put much faith into them, if I were a TES fellow. I would have said the Tribunal, being as they essentially mooned the Daedra while screaming "HEY! LOOK AT MY BUTT!" and in the process ascending to godhood, but the Temple is too...not-good. I always thought the Nine were a decent lot. They may not be the most powerful beings of the lot, but at least they care about mortals more than any of the others. And they were pretty nice in Morrowind while in their avatars' forms.

I?d either worship one of the Aedra or one of the funny daedra. Perhaps Sanguine.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I could make a lengthy argument that any given set of gods (Aedra, Daedra, Tribunal, etc) are false gods, liars, and murderers...

These polls should have put on there (not Hiricine or Sheo). The problem of what I see with those two is, that everyone is too familiar with them, especially Sheo. Mehrunes gets his butt kicked every other day, so there isn't too many gunning for him it seems.

If I had to worship a god? Phhhht! I would want to worship the Daedra- but only inside Nirn
The problem with attempting to worship some god from a video game in the real world, is that, quite frankly, people make fun of you for doing such a thing- Don't they, Brian?

To the case, I just really think that On Oblivion[and other books] is much more interesting than the Bible(no offence); Spheres and change and the void, it's all so interesting!

As a fellow, I quite like Vivec.

But as someone to worship, there is only Hircine.

After reading Invocation of Azura and getting an idea of several Daedra...I have to agree with the author that Azura is the one to worship. ^_^

Stendarr, Mara, Dibella, Akatosh. In that order.

That is, if I even decided to worship anyone/anything. 'Respect' =/= Worship.

The Daedra or the Aedra? And why?

Edit: I meant "choose."

I would worship the Dwemer. lol jk
But really I dont think i would worship any of them. I would just study them and learn as much as i can about them and their nature. But if i really had to pick one it would be Azura. I just wouldnt trust the other Daedra

Why not create new ones?

its better to necromance a rather pointless thread than to start another rather pointless thread. of course its better to not have these threads on the front page at all...

Ah, Milanius, how we miss you. These necro'd threads serve to remind us of how many people we've lost.
