The Daedra or the Aedra? And why?

Edit: I meant "choose."

I'd follow Meridia, the Daedra... because she trafficked with illicit spectra and that's just totally punk.

Not Daedra again.

I like the Tribunal actually. So ALMSIVI, because Morrowind rocks.

I'd rather go with Aedra worship than Daedra worship because with daedra your most likely gonna end up dead or well liked citizen of sheogorath's realm. so i'd worship akatosh because he doesnt seem the type to randomly kill or trick people

I'd go worship someone who can't harm me in any way. I guess that means an Aedra.

But they are false gods, liars, and murderers. They even admitted to killing Nerevar to use the Heart of Lorkhan. Besides that, they are no longer gods and the Tribunal temple has turned back to the original method of worshipping their ancestors.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but... Just sayin'.

No, they are real gods, just with stolen godhood. And they changed time so they were always gods and mortals both at once. Vivec admitted that HE killed Nerevar, but at the same time he didn't, and murder is part of Vivec's persona, so it works. And the Daedra are also liars and murderers, and I can make an arguement that the Divines are also "False Gods" and murderers. And their accomplishments are still great. Vivec achieved CHIM and told his people how to follow in his footsteps, Sotha Sil created the most advanced technology in the Mundus, even making the Dwemer look primative and made the pact with the Daedra, and Almalexia defeated Mehrunes Dagon. Don't be fooled by Azura's (who is not a very nice godess at all) propaganda.

We don't know what happening in Morrowind in terms of religion. Vivec certainly wanted to revert to ancestor worship, but he never seems to have achieved that.

I'd worship the Aedra. They heal, bless, restore, and once you've completed the pilgrimage, they give you a lesser power.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I could make a lengthy argument that any given set of gods (Aedra, Daedra, Tribunal, etc) are false gods, liars, and murderers...

I would worship the Daedra, because they do stuff.
The Aedra just dont.
People dont have a favorite Aedra because they dont know stuff about Aedra because they're vague and boring.
People do have favorite Daedra because they have charcters aspects they symbolise things, cool things.

Why are you using classic virtues of good and evil here? Most actions of TES deities prove that they are wholly beyond good and evil. The Aedra and the Daedra are exactly the same as the Tribunal. Liars and murderers? The Aedra killed Lorkhan, one of their own, and refuse to teach to us the methods of reaching Heaven.

My bubble isn't burst. In fact, my bubble is hidden within the provisional house.

Aedra can harm people.

They can, but they don't. Unless you include Umaril, although they technically gave Pelinal the equipment to kill him.

We don't know too much about what happened to Lorkhan; there's a lot of different viewpoints on what happened.

Are you trying to raise the possibility that maybe Akatosh didn't kill Lorkhan? Because that would make another whitebread superhero type a murderer? :D

Well, there's always the possibility. And it's not like we got any concrete proof (or any proof at all) of what happened aside from a heart in a volcano. And it's not like I can't have a dissenting opinion.

Branding everyone a murderer is more inaccurate than hailing a few as heroes.
