Do you have any goals left in Skyrim?

Post » Sun Mar 02, 2014 1:04 pm

As per title, anything you havn't done in the game that you would like to? For me it is to finally meet the Ebony warrior. I actually created the character that I'm rolling now purely for this reason a few weeks ago. He's an Altmer battlemage who has reached level 63 at present, have done the legendary thing on skills a few times to reach this level and he's going well.

So how about you guys, anything you still really want to achieve?

I've never had a 'son of Skyrim' Nord type character, and would like to just once to see how much friendlier the people of Skyrim are to me then... I'd also like to get the legendary edition so I can have the DLC packs (play on PS3.)

Cool, you should go for both. The DLC's are well worth the money and add some really good stuff to the game.

Someday I may do the main quest. I've never gone further than the first meeting with the greybeards thus far, despite having the game since 2011.

How come? Do you get bored with it or does it not fit your character?

I should probably finish Dawnguard without becoming a vampire.

All I am doing at the moment is just modding it, to make it more fun. Will probably download some new quests and landmasses to do eventually, haven't tried any yet.

I don't get bored with it, or feel it doesn't fit my characters really. That's just how I play. It is the same way with all TES games for me, Fallout too. I haven't done any of their main quests except Fallout 3's. I found out with that game, that for me, the rest of the game feels anticlimactic after finishing the main quest. I just couldn't bring myself to continue that character. So I save the main quest till after I have done everything else there is to do first. Something which has yet to happen.

I want to get all Daedric artifacts (probably not on one character) and all the dragon priest masks (on one character). And all the word walls. It's going to be quite challenging because I usually retire a character when I feel their story has finished (which can be after doing just the main quest or just the complete quest line for 1 guild).

I think getting all the dragon priest masks with one character is possible if the character is the adventurer/collector type (Indiana Jones LOL). I created a basically evil character to obtain all the Daedric artifacts which was fine. As for all the word walls, that could be tough with one character and is something I personally certainly wouldn't try. LOL

Every word wall. I think I have gotten close on a few characters.

But I have yet to have every daedric artifact on any play through.

I can cross the stones and crown of Barenziah off my list. Just got that with my vampire thief Kaileena.

Have yet to meet the Ebony warrior. not sure when he shows up exactly but I had a high lv 60 character. He was probably a coward.

I want to get 100 in Alchemy, and I want to use the Ebony Blade on a playthrough

I also want to get to a high level so I can fight all of the cool dragons in the game on Legendary. :D

Could be difficult as you spend 16 hours a day on the game by your own admission!

The only goal I have left is: Using every shout in a battle against Alduin, Harkon, Karstaag and Miraak.

I still want to:

1. Get all of the Dragon Priest masks. I had a character who was supposed to do that last summer, but he retired before finishing. My new battlemage character is going to do this and the mage's guild quests. I'm also looking forward to finally seeing http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15052/?, which I've had installed for many characters, but never actually "used".

2. Do the main quest as a neutral party and see the council negotiation. I didn't even know this was possible for a long time. It's a small thing, but I'd like to see it.

3. Finish http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9782/?.

4. Check out http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47989/?, which adds 7 more lore cities to Skyrim. It might make Skyrim too crowded, but I've been wanting to check this out.

My most immediate goal is to finish off Harkon, then finish the College questline, retrieve the rest of the Dragon Priest masks, complete as many Shouts as possible, deal with the Aetherium stuff, then head off to Solstheim as the most badass fully-realized Dovahkiin to face off with Miraak.

Constantly trying new mods and now I have Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 and Stronghold 1 for PC.

I'm probably going to stay away from Skyrim for a week or something. maybe more or maybe less but when I return to Skyrim I will try my best to keep 1 character.

I've had the game since 11/11/11. I have restarted so many times I still have about 2,000-5,000 hours of things I want to do but have not yet done.

I'm stalled on this course because I have to make my character strong enough to take on the dangers of Skyrim.

The main things I want to do and have not yet done are:

- Defeating a legendary dragon.
- Defeating Alduin in his final form & at level 100.
- Starting the Dragonborn DLC quest and completing it.
- Get all 18 of my skills to 100 and make them each legendary at least one time.
- Clear out every single dungeon.
- Collect and unlock every spell, enchantment, alchemy ingredient attributes, armor and weapon types.
- Complete all side quests.
- Collect every trophy/achievement.
- Search and find every rare item in the game.
- Have a complete set of perks for every skill.

I know this list is going to take a while, but I don't mind. It gives me something to do. I am glad I made the decision to keep restarting because I'm still encountering new things.
