When I started Skyrim, picking my race wasn't really even much of a choice. You see, I always -- always -- go Redguard on my first playthrough. I did it in Morrowind, I did in in Oblivion, and I'm sure I'll do it in TES: Online if my rage over it being an online game ever subsides long enough for me to buy it.

Anyway, my question is this: do you have a race that you always play through TES games with first?

I love Redguards and I usually start with them, but in Skyrim, I just couldn't make them look nice and so I made an Argonian.

Yes I played Argonian first in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.

My favourite race used to be Argonians and my main characters in Morrowind, Oblilvion and Daggerfall were all Argonians but I changed things up a bit and was a Dark Elf in Skyrim so I guess Argonians were once my default race but not anymore.

It was Imperial, but I have (happily) migrated to being a Breton.

I always start first with a High Elf. After that I branch out if I want to.

I tend to stick with Imperial, or Nord when playing Arena or Daggerfall.

I really enjoy making High Elf characters that are combat-based.

EDIT: Would you recommend Arena and/or Daggerfall to someone who's played TES games religiously since Morrowind?

Argonian. Except on Morrowind.. I need a special mod before playing as an Argonian in Morrowind.

And why is that?
