Do you have a partner?

It's as good a thread as any right? Anyway! I thought this would be a genuinely interesting poll, so do feel free to vote.

I myself have never had a girlfriend. So that's what I voted for. :P

No, and I don't have nor do I expect to gain the set of social skills required to have a romantic relationship. I don't really have any trouble having friends though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWJcwmjM8mE. Have friends though, not a lack of social skills. When your expected to die off like a fruit fly it makes little sense to get involved with someone.

I don't have and never have had a girlfriend or a boyfriend. :nerd: I'm good in terms of regular non gender specific friends though.

Do not have a girlfriend. Been girlfriend free for a year and a half now, when she asked me to marry her. She is now married to a guy she dated for a month. Dodged a bullet.

But, I am not really looking for a relationship at the moment, just focusing on getting through with college. Never know what will happen though.

I had a girlfriend over the summer but we broke it off. Personally, I like being on my own.

Single currently. Have had past relationships, however.

I'm single as well. Heck, there are a lot of us here. Should we have a dating sub-forum?

Weirdly all my relationship have casual, don't like it . I want a real relationship, but I'm too nuerotic and beyond the dating phase people just stop talking to me

I met my girlfriend online in 1999. I came over to visit later that year and she hasn't been able to get rid of me since.

I have other things I need to do in my life before I start worrying about a relationship, so it will likely be a handful of years before I ever bother trying. If by chance, a girl happens to come along and she shows genuine feelings for me.. then I might see where it goes from there. For the most part though, now isn't the right time for me to have a relationship but since I'm now living near a major university.. that could be my starting point when the time comes.

I will want her to understand that I'm an introverted kind of person, and I'd be willing to hang out with her friends as long as it's not a social party. Hopefully she will be able to observe that I have Asperger's and that there are small things that can irritate me if they happen constantly (I don't like bright overhead lights or continuous noise). Like I said though.. I predict it will be a long time before I enter a relationship, so I don't really care at this point.

Hell to the no. Not right now anyway. Got out of a 3 year long relationship about a year ago and have been happily single since. Although what I call a girlfriend and what others call a girlfriend is a different story. We have to be dating at least 3 months or so for me to call her my girlfriend.

I have a Girlfriend :D

Met her on holiday 3 years ago

Sadly she moved to Birmingham a few months ago, we still keep in touch though and she is moving back when she is done with college there.
