I would've missed that day anyways because it's 11/11/11 and who wants to go to school on such an awesome day?!

Never in my life have I ever called in sick just to play a game. Ever. And I doubt there will be such a game to make me miss obligations/requirements to do so.

I'll just take some days off from work. No need to be calling in sick if I have enough days to spare ;)

Depends on a few things, if I had a job than sure ill take the day off and fake I am sick, depends on when my baking class days are and if I have to take it off tho I won't more than likly since it is only an 1-2 long class than but once again it depends on what day it is and 3rd it depends if parents will accept me being Bi and if I totally go all out lisbian and have my wife get a sperm donor to have a child, than i will dis-own the child and or just let her take care of it while I play the game all day:)

But no really no matter how much I am excited for this game and no matter how much I want to play it I highly doubt I will do any of those things to play it a few hours early, I mean I normally have such a waked out mother that she won't LET ME HAVE THE controllers till night time anyhow but it depends like I have said but main point is: I will just wait to play it, maybe read the guide or manual or something if I CAN'T play it asap

I have never missed a day of school or work to play a video game because it was just released.

I don't have a wife so I don't have to worry about that (and I certainly don't expect to be married). I may be in a relationship with someone but even if I were I probably would put the game on hold if they wanted me to be with them.

As for the having a baby comment I hope you're joking :P

I've never pulled a sicky for school, and don't intend on doing so. So I'll just be making myself sick on 10/11/11.
The 10'th november next year I'll break a leg. I can feel it...

That would be unwise. If I were you, I'd do it on the 6th or 7th of November.

I'm in college and it's really dumb to skip a day of school for a game. I'll request the workday off.

No, I will quit my job, drop out of school, divorce my wife, and dis-own the baby. Nothing will get in my way.

Hahaha. Yeah, this is the extent that I will take to play V.

My class schedule gives me one day off each week, so I'm going to try and make it Friday. If that doesn't work out (or if I end up having a job or internship), I'll wait it out like a man.

yes, of course I will be sick that day, and it might be serious, so I will be out a few days longer.

December 11th is a holiday here (Remembrance Day). I will have that Friday off. Long weekend :)

I might go to the midnight release if I can get one of my parents to go with me. :P

Pssh, I'll be a freshman in college. They won't miss one person out of 100 in a classroom.

no, because frankly, if you do, you have no life. No offense to fans, I am one, but a GAME is not worth putting real life stuff on hold to go and play when you can do it just as easily in your free time. I have a bro who does the midnight shopping for WoW and Call of Duty and that crap, he also works way below his potential. So no... I'm going to try and avoid a resemblence to him.

Nah, only game I've ever skipped school for was Halo 2, and that's when I was 9.

Nope... As with a few others, I have that day off regardless for Remembrance Day.

But if it was a regular work day... Still nope. I've got other priorities first, and TES is more the occasional joy I keep in the background.

Quite frankly, I don't see myself getting it until 2012 anyway, not to be a downer, but moreso just being realistic. Heck, I may have to wait to get a computer capable of playing it, first.

(That and I may be honeymooning... Which is clearly not taking a backseat to ANYthing.)

I won't "fake" being sick. I'll just not go to class. One of the perks of being in college (university to those of you on the other side of the ocean). Nice that it's a Friday too = three straight days to play with no interruptions... I'll probably even play if there are parties at my house on Friday/Saturday night. I wonder if it would be better to play the game while intoxicated, or whether that would taint the experience. I'll probably stay sober for the first playthrough.
