As much as i love Skyrim i seriously doubt i'd skip a day of college for it. Luckily its on a friday so i can stay up all night to make up for the missed day playing :P

Yes, I'll abandon my lovely wife while she's giving birth (Our baby is due on that exact day, which is weird considering it's more than nine months away) just so I can rush to the store to buy a game, take it home and play it. When she comes home and sees me playing it I'll just cough or something and tell her I didn't want to make the baby ill. She won't mind, it worked when I abandoned our first born on the way to his birthday party so I could buy Fallout New Vegas.

I'm going to fake my death.

Because everyone is going to think I've died anyway, when I suddenly never venture outside the house for several months to play Skyrim. B)

Faking sickness to get out of your responsibilities shows a lack of class in my opinion.

I can wait another 8 hours to play the game, especially since I have to wait 320+ days for it to start with.

nah dude, me and my buddy got it all planned out. its a thursday night and we are gonna go on a man date (not gay). steak dinner and the midnight release. thats the last time we will see eachother for a while because we will then go not come back to school on friday. or probably ever for that matter. in fact i think i might just drop out and live on an iv for the rest of my life when it comes out. considering the fact that i still obsess over morrowind and oblivion (easily over 1000 hours on both put together) if Skyrim is any better, i might as well say my goodbyes now.

No, I will quit my job, drop out of school, divorce my wife, and dis-own the baby. Nothing will get in my way.

My plans are: buy the game and guide. My wife and children will then recognize me as the nerd of all nerds when I crack open the book first to get a taste of what factions are available and start to get sweaty like a chimp. I will then start to play, but only to get a feel for character customization and controls.this testing process may last the night until I finally sleep.

When I wake up I immediately call in sick...which with my job is automatically two days. Those two days turn into five after I call back in two days and say I'm still sick. My next order of business will be reading the manual while eating breakfast. It will probably start to give me a chubby. Next, ill think long and hard as to what type of character I should play as. After that, ill think of a name that's suitable for race played.ill then sit down and start a serious game finally

I'm 17 I have been waiting for TES V for so long. I love the series the immersion, the settings, everything and I have a baby due on the 9th of august :) I doubt I'll be able to even afford Skyrim for a long while! But on the plus side I'll have a son :) I hope :P

Depends on what's going on at school. If there's any tests/projects, then I won't skip it. If not, then I'll enjoy my first actual lie sickness!!

I won't "fake" being sick. I'll just not go to class. One of the perks of being in college (university to those of you on the other side of the ocean). Nice that it's a Friday too = three straight days to play with no interruptions... I'll probably even play if there are parties at my house on Friday/Saturday night. I wonder if it would be better to play the game while intoxicated, or whether that would taint the experience. I'll probably stay sober for the first playthrough.

drunk - ruin the immersion in a game like TES
high - greatly increase the experience

:D

you bought a 360 FOR oblivion?? you could have bought an epic graphics card or processor for that and had like 20 times the experience!
