Yes...I will be taking the day of and possibly after off. Any true TES fan should..unless they have a full blown career.

No, I will quit my job, drop out of school, divorce my wife, and dis-own the baby. Nothing will get in my way.

I'm considering taking time off. If I have any sick/personal time saved up, I'll probably put in for a couple of days off, as I would get paid for them regardless, but in the end, I have a family to feed and house, and I need to make sure those needs are met, no matter how awesome Skyrim is.

I will just make sure that everyone that threatens my immediate getting of the game at the moment it is released has been killed under suspicious circumstances by that time.

Wait, what? Your beard will provide! A beard, a true beard, could provide for a city, let alone a single family.

But yeah, with my current job I'll definitely get the day or weekend off. Though I finish uni in October so I may have something more "important" to do.

It's set to release on Veteran's Day... So I wouldn't have to fake being sick. I'm off that day.

I won't be able to, as I'll be out of the country student teaching. But when I get back... ;)

Its too far away to tell. But I don't think I'll need a whole day off. would be nice, 6pm-12am....on Sunday might just satisfy me.

It comes out on a Friday... :)

I will plan a weeks holiday around the time of it's release, unless I have some serious stuff going on at Uni.

Oh yeah, and it's veterans day, that will work well for me!

Just submit for time off request right now saying you have a cruise planned for that whole week. I don't think an employer can argue with 11 months advanced notice.

Naw. Knowing this is made by Bethesda, I would wait at least a week just in case to remove any gamebreaking bug that might circulate in the game. Than I might get the game in the weekend/days off.

Never in my life have I ever called in sick just to play a game. Ever. And I doubt there will be such a game to make me miss obligations/requirements to do so.
