I am playing a thief type character (again. I am addicted.)

I am playing on masters difficulty so staying sneaky is even more important. I have sneak perks up to shadow warrior. does silence perk make muffle (as enchantment or as spell) useless?

Seems like it. I don't think anything more than that is needed, maybe cast invisibility to be sure you're hidden.
