EDIT As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in RL, I have played Skyrim and typed without having access to a working Thumb and Index finger. PC Users are not trapped by the inability to hold a controller, and in a worst case scenario, I have a Laptop with a Touchpad, and an Imagination

I don't care how many fingers I've broken! Nothing still stop me from playing Fallout 4!

I play the game already with arthritis from time to time. I likely could play with them broken. I likely will even find a way to play even without hands.

Arthritis is sometimes quite bad and other times it is not.

Maybe you are correct and in that case I would learn to use cherry bombs more wisely or invest more into explosives.

Yeah, that's tough but doable for a single-player game at least.

Use a gamepad for the movement of the character using the palms of my hands, then I'll set up a profile using voice commands with Glovepie to control the rest of it.
