I don't want this is the base game, but as a mod it could be fun. imagine dogfights with dragons. I am against mounts in the base game, but as mods I think it can be a fun diversion.

i'm kind of hoping they'll use their own proprietary mesh format this time around instead of .NIF, if only so SKYRIMNEXUS stays a decent source for mods for a little while longer.

With dragons being dynamic and all... how is it possible making such a mod? you'll have to import your own new animations for the dragon model and make it somehow ridable... I'm guessing making a dragon-mount this time around will be difficult than we had thought.

Err make your own one if you think Akatosh Mount was rubbish, unfinished yes but definitely not rubbish, Saiden Storm tutoreals help other modders create completely new creatures.
Even developer admit thats was awesome mod

Well I never personally tried it for very long because my Oblivion always crashes on my computer, so I probably missed the updates and all. The effort was great but it's not like they could fully implement a whole new feature into the game that was not there at all to begin with, so naturally it couldn't have been absolutely up to standard with the game. I just mean that now dragons are a big part of the game modders can make something that's beyond the standard of the original game, instead of having to make do and make something a little substandard because they basically have to start from scratch.
