Loved FO3, despite BSOD's every 20 -30min.

Heard FONV was buggy. So I waited. Finally got it last week.

CONSTANTLY getting corrupted save games, sitting and watching the eternal loading screen.

Inexcusable. I'm through, I'm done. I got better things to do with my time, better things to spend my money on. Life is just too damned short. I'll never play a FO game again, at least not one I've paid for.

So Dragon Age now svcks, and so does Fallout. Maybe if the Witcher bombs, I can stop playing RPGs all together.

Maybe I should thank you. Life is too short to sit in front of a monitor, enraged. Karma -- you're crappy product has given me time back.

I can certainly understand where you're coming from-- I've played some buggy, faulty games in my time, too.

Personally, I've found FO:NV and FO3 to be relatively good, overall-- not too many problems for me, personally; so, at the risk of sounding patronising (which is not intended, and apologies if so), and also assuming you're on the PC, are you sure it is not your system that it at fault? I don't know how much you know about computers, but maybe check that other things are not going on in the background-- I recall, a while back, that there was a game where certain makes of Printer would seriously mess it up because their software was too intensive.

On saves, if you can, try and make back-ups; over-saving saves is apparently not recommended (although I'm very guilty of it).

Well there goes another "fan" that complains about it on the forum for no reason other than thinking his voice shall be heard and the guys making the game are gonna care that one person bought a bad copy, got pissed off and cried for a while

Well then, that sounds like a good thing! I dont think it's very nice of you to shout at Bethesda considering the favour they've done for you!
I think as you've re-aquired just so much of your precious valuable time you should be happy. Or do you now plan to spend all that freshly found exciting spare time to be something you'd like to use whining on the internets?

Yes, how dare he come on here, to a public discussion forum, and voice his displeasure at having paid good money for a still faulty and unfinished product. What cheek, what chutzpah he displays!

(How thoroughly dismal. Where's the incentive for Bethesda to release their games when they're actually ready in future, when so many here are so bafflingly content to svck up rushed, slipshod work?)

Because software this elaborate and complicated is never "ready".
If this is the PC version, there are billions of external factors, most of them being idiots with 3 dozen programs on autostart and dozens of trojans and viruses from looking at free porm sites on a regular basis.

Good riddance, there are always gonna be whiners. If they aren't buying your product, then you don't have to cater to their needs.

(loudspeaker voice) Please don't come again.

This kind of arrogant mentality is partially the fault of the business world telling customers they are always right to their face but then knowing when they aren't around that the customer is wrong most of the time and just wants attention.

Just trying to be helpful by suggesting that he return is defective product to the place of purchase, as perhaps his copy is no good.

FYI, its not "you're" its "your".

What you, OP, said is; "You are crappy product has given me time back." It just doesn't sound right. Well, mainly because it isn't. At any rate. On point. Good bye. You wont be missed.

So Dragon Age now svcks, and so does Fallout. Maybe if the Witcher bombs, I can stop playing RPGs all together.

There's still Risen 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Don't give up just yet.

I

Sound to me like you need to reload Windows sir. if FO3 is giving you BSOD's theres a deeper Issue here than just faulty game coding. BSOD's in Any Windows version Past 2000 is usually a Bad sign.
also if your getting corrupt saves you may want to run chkdsk /f /r on your Hard drives, there may be a hardware issue there

I had some issues at the beginning of New Vegas (bad performance, some crashing) Pre-December patch. but since then Its been pretty stable so far. and its been as good if not better since the 1.3 patch a week or so ago.

Like the old proverb states "Physician, heal thyself"

LOL you already paid for it so...your out of luck. And the problem with slow downs may be that you are just playing it for too long periods at a time. If you have like 8 straight hours maybe you should get outside a bit more. Second, work on your spelling. Inexcusable. That is how you spell it. And don't knock off all fallout games because of a small glitch. Idk what your doing wrong but I have not a single corrupted save file. Plus Fallout 3 and NV are made by two different developers idiot.

Unfortunately, the company isn't going to give a damn about you after they have your money, so you can complain all you like but it won't really matter. I'm not all that impressed with the Fallout series right now, and I am really hoping Skyrim manages to pick up the slack, but I probably won't be looking forward to too many gamesas games in the future.

I almost took FO3 back...couldn't get through the Pitt, but suddenly it started working and I finished the entire game and DLC's. The last time I played FO3, I constantly froze at Point Lookout and gave up trying. As far as New Vegas, it runs so well that I have been fearful of downloading the patches in fear that it would screw up my game.....still running well.(On PS3)

For me on PS3 the latest patch made me happy. It runs just as good as fo3 after the latest patch for me.

I was pissed too, but I knew they couldn t let it go like that.

I thought you could fix stuff yourself on PC with mods???
IDK They fixed it to me on PS3.
