Another fun poll to see how much TES players are alike. (I can't help it; i'm a political scientist.)
For me, I'm going to be itching to test how the game will react to me attacking the first NPC I see, as soon as I hear "Quiet! Here comes the guard." :toughninja:
The citizens of Skyrim better be prepared for the apocalypse on 11.11.11
Not the first I get a chance to, that's for sure. Then again, that depends on what you consider to be a chance. I consider the person standing in front of me while my axe is out to be a chance, lol.
I'm just going to make a save, then go beat a woman and take off her clothes. It better not be like fallout where they were wearing full undergarments! It should be like Oblivion or I'll demand a refund.
I've never roleplayed a character who senselessly kills innocents. In Morrowind this was because the characters were all so likeable, in Oblivion it was because they were either essential for some obscure guild quest or because I didn't want to put up with the Dark Brotherhood.
Nah I don't have any violent tendencies to the first people I meet.
I remember playing Oblivion for the first time and walking up to a nice little campsite with some dudes chilling out by the fire roasting quaill or whatever. I walk up and say hello and they call me something mean and I asked if I was supposed to kill them. Two minutes later and my net worth jumped like crazy.
Nope. First NPC I see, i'll talk to and test the dialogue. I will hit and kill a civilian fairly early on though, just to see how the guards react compared to Oblivion.
unless its a bandit or someone who genuinely ticks me off no. heh i remember stumbling upon hackdirt by chance and getting quickly irritated with everyone in the town so i slaughtered the lot of them even there precious "brethren" then one week later when i was browsing UESP i found out that place was involved in a quest where Dar-ma gets kidnapped i facepalmed at first but then i realised i saved myself the trouble of slaughtering those curs later on.
In all my plays of Oblivion, I've never set out to just kill non-hostile NPCs. Heck, I've only seen Lucien spawn for two of my characters (him, I kill on sight. )
(Fallout 3's a little different for me, but then, that's less of a "heroic" game... I've killed off the Family or Republic of Dave a couple of times. And I just off Roy Phillips whenever I see him. Immediately.)
