You know Skyrim's going to be big when . . .

You can buy Morrowind GOTY for http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0000ZQDM4/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&qid=1297547621&sr=8-5&condition=new, Oblivoin GOTY for http://www.amazon.co.uk/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Oblivion-Game/dp/B00140Y7PY/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1297547552&sr=1-4 and normal Oblivion for http://www.amazon.co.uk/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Oblivion-DVD/dp/B0009XH4D4/ref=sr_1_6?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1297547552&sr=1-6

Never mind the fact you can get them for pittance used, the fact that these games are selling for more than nearly all current PC games makes me think Skyrim is going to be awesome. (Not that I ever doubted this :P)

Share your stories of why Skyrim is going to be awesome :D

Those prices are insane.

I bought a replacement Morrowind GotY disk last year for less than £5. It seems crazy that it would suddenly be in such demand that they can get away with those sorts of prices

Besides you can buy it on Steam for a helluva lot less....

Omg.... I bought Morrowind goty to try to play it again on the PC and it cost me 10 bucks and mine was new. Whoever is trying to sell it on amazon for 99 pounds ( which I'm guessing that's somewhere around 130-140 dollars) is insane.

You know Skyrim's going to be big when....

Everyone on the official forums does nothing but complain about how Skyrim will be the downfall of the ES franchise.

...Oh, wait. :sadvaultboy:

Anyway, I can't wait for Skyrim :D

You know it's going to be big when... every gaming news article you read about another RPG is full of comments along the lines of,

"Looks pretty good, this should keep me occupied until SKYRIM arrives!!!!!!111one"

The art store?

After seeing the massive in spike in sales from Fallout New Vegas in comparison to Fallout 3, I have a good feeling the same marketing practice will make Skyrim rather big.

Everyone always says the next game will be the downfall of the ES franchise. Morrowind was going to be the first downfall and the series got more popular. Then Oblivion was the next downfall and the series went nuclear popular and Skyrim is just the newest "end of all things". I really think there are some people that can only enjoy the world when they think it's going to hell.

Why is Morrowind by ubisoft and Oblivion by take two? These can't be users, right? The names must be trademarked.

EDIT I'll be damned. I looked at a Knights of the Nine case I had nearby and saw Ubisoft's name there too. All these years and I never realized it. lol

Those trees will make Skyrim GOTY even if the game is unplayable.

You know Skyrim's going to be big when...

Captain Kirk says TOOOODDDDDDD!!!! instead of KHANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!

You so badly want to pull a Cartman and freeze yourself for 9 months.

You keep saying the phrase "Need more info now"

You forget that Fallout New Vegas came out last year.

You have a Todd Howard idol in your basemant and you worship it.

Todd Howard actually comes into this thread and says what's up (That would be funny if he did).

Slightly OT. I bought morrowind GOTY edidion on a random impulse second hand without ever hearing about it barely a year before Oblivion came out. I wonder if we see it with rose coloured glasses cause we love it so much? Maybe there's a good portion of people going "The Elder what now??"

I let someone borrow my Oblivion for a couple of years and when I got it back recently, the disc was too scratched to play. I just got a copy at Gamestop yesterday for $15.
