You know the Knee-Arrow thing has gotten out of control

It is a meme. Your opinion is respected but I'm sure there are things you like to do that millions think is stupid. Just sayin'.

We just have to keep it up, untill "I took an arrow to the knee" is used by athletes when they retire, and people 200 years from now don't even know where the phrase originated!!!

LOL I just saw this in a random comments section:

If you're having adventuring problems, I feel bad for you? son.

I dodged 99 arrows, but my knee took one.

I thought it was pretty funny, and some of the spin off jokes have been pretty cool - 'I dodged 99 arrows but my knee took one' made me actually laugh, and it can be funny when used in the right way, but not on YT comments

My my, aren't we cynical? Not everyone who giggles at memes is socially inept. I know plenty of people who go against the stereotype you seem to think holds true.

The sad thing is, some members seem to think they're funny when they post an "in the knee" joke in threads like this. Honestly, this meme isn't funny unless you get somewhat creative with it, but even if you do post some funny variation on the meme, hordes of people will steal the variation and make it unfunny by reposting it a million times.

The worst is when your sister(who has NEVER played or watched you play the game) says, "I knew what Skyrim was, till I took an arrow in the knee." I actually punched her. Can't stand when jokes go from being inclusive to a group to just anyone - even those who don't know how it originated.

It was funny the first time. Perhaps cause when I first heard it, it was cleverly used.
Now, its just "I used to ...then I took an arrow in the knee."

The shameful thing is that it's never actually used cleverly.
