Learn French?

Hell no.

Il a appris probablement a quelque degre comme l'education francais est obligatoire dans Canada, comme l'anglais serait aux gens dans Quebec.

(He probably has learned to some degree as French education is mandatory in Canada, as English would be to people in Quebec.)

EDIT: It took me like.. 20 minutes to type that. :P

Nope. Not in Western Schools. At least, it was an option class and no one took it.

Thats usefull, you can now sing to rammstien, I just say word I think I am saying then mumble/hum ones I dont. All we had was Welsh (dead language no one only speaks Welsh) and French which unless I got to Canada or france im never going to use, I assume most canadaians speak english and french so again not very usefull.

Not a safe assumption to make. Most speak English, most of Quebec speaks French (mostly in addition to English, though sometimes it's instead of), very very few outside of Quebec speak French.

Pretty much this.

I also hear Quebec is tough on English only speakers in their province.

As they should be. Doesn't make any sense to live somewhere and refuse to learn the language, does it?

That I am the only sole idiot in the whole of the United States of America that still has a Webster Fuel Pump Model M34DA3 with a build date of 1972 who can't find a replacement pump because he isn't sure what will work and what won't. GAHHHH!!! I want to punch the guy who took the pump apart to death. If he knew anything about these pumps he would've known that the pump was designed without a screen and designed to never be taken apart!!!!

That my furnace has been down for almost 5 weeks now and the [censored] who broke it still hasn't come to fix it. Oh, and to make matters worse; he had me buy a 65* 70B nozzle when my burner originally had an 85* 80W then I find out today from an HVAC tech I cornered in a parking lot that if "your" furnace was designed, built and spec'd for a W type nozzle the only options you have are a W type nozzle or an A type Nozzle. B type is a "stand-alone" nozzle that can not be used with any other type of system. GREAT!!!!

Now I have to rush home tonight, pull the damn gun out of my furnace again tonight and change the nozzle back. Not to mention that I CAN NOT reuse the old nozzle even though its less than a year old. I have to go buy another one.

Time for a couple more, I say!

1. People who act like Nightwish's cover of "Over the Hills and Far Away" was even close to passable, let alone close to the quality of the original. Not to mention people who think they actually wrote that song! That version is [censored]! It's one of the worst interpretations of a song ever made! Even the video is crap; vikings didn't have pistols!

2. Too low production of lactose-free milk. It's not like regular milk has any advantages; most people are intolerant to lactose to some degree, and the lactose free stuff can go way longer without spoiling. If the dairy producers started just sticking some lactase in all their milk, nobody would be none the wiser!

I didn't think it was bad....(the song not the video)

Then again I didn't like the original very much either :P

So did I, as long as the kid can handle seeing Zombies try to eat people then I see no problem with it. A game is a game, contrary to popular belief, video games are not brainwashing our chldren into murderous psychopaths.

There are plenty of studies showing a correlation between video game playing at a very young age and dramatically increased levels of aggression and desensitization to violence. I understand that you don't like people blaming all sorts of things on video games, and I think everyone who plays video games can agree with you on that, but please don't try to pretend that there isn't rather extensive evidence linking aggression and violence in very young people to video games. Hell, it should be pretty logical that carrying out extensive violent and antisocial acts can have an effect on minds which have yet to fully develop.

You know what grinds my gears?

The fact that my chair no longer rocks backwards like it should.

Damn loose screws that won't budge at all, even with the Hulk here to lend a hand.
