You know what grinds my gears? part III

Someone broke into my car. It has a soft-top and they just cut through the window. Didn't take a single thing, just ruined my cover.

We're on an island ;)

Well, so are we, but if somebody walked into my kitchen I'd at least ask who the hell they were.

There are eight of them.

And all eight like biting my ankles and pants.

hahahaha that's how we chose our dog

We chose him because he was tugging at my pants when we went to go see the other dogs

People in class who think they know more than the tutor.
A real example-

"Why do you need to set up the VLANs like this?"
"Well because a VLA..."
"I know what a VLAN is."
"OK, but to explain why you need to to this, you need to know that a VLA..."
"I know what a VLAN is."
"Do you want me to explain?"
"No, I know what a VLAN is!"

Here goes another!

The winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The song was [censored], the singing was [censored], it was simply [censored], and I had a girlfriend next to me through the whole thing going on about how awesome it was!

It was [censored]!

What would bother me about that is the tutor didn't say "Shut the [censored] up and let me explain before you interrupt me you little [censored]!"

It is surprising.

They updated the PS3 so you cannot use the 360 controller. Those [censored]es! The other PC controllers work, its just that the Xbox 360 PC controller does not. The best one out there.

Why would the possibly allow that in the first place? If someone owns a 360 and buys a PS3 they could essentially just skip buying new controllers, which would be cool for the gamer, but obviously a business that's sole purpose is to make money is going to have a problem with that. I'm not surprised at all, and I can't really blame them for doing what they're supposed to do.

I was amazed that you could use guitar hero guitars with rock band, but maybe they allowed that because they knew the rock band one was [censored]...

People who come over to my house with the intention of servicing my furnace. Then proceed to take apart the pump only to effectively mutilate the gasket on it so now the damn thing leaks. Oh, not to mention that it no longer pumps fuel into the nozzle. Which renders my furnace completely useless. Oh, and to piss me off even more? The jerk was supposed to come back to finish the job last tuesday. He blew me off. Then it was last thursday. Yep, blew me off again. Then last friday. Again, no show. Was supposed to come over Memorial Day. Yup...never showed.

Now I'm left holding the bag on a job that I didn't start and know nothing about. Time to teach myself. Hopefully I can get the thing up and running tomorrow. Since I can never rely on anyone who can do the things they say they can.

I would say that contractors in general piss me off. I have NEVER had a good experience with a contractor. Each and every time it has lead to shoddy work that has to be redone. We had some guys come in to do our kitchen and hardwood floors. My dad and I could have done this, we both know what we are doing when it comes to that kind of stuff, but we also both have jobs that take up our time. We ended up having to redo some of the cabinetry and railings, and have a hardwood floor with gaps in it that we haven't got around to fixing.

Then there was the balcony guys, the concrete guys, the guys that spray our fruit trees ( or rather the side of the tree facing the gate cause they don't walk around behind it.), the designer for the kitchen that ordered things we didnt ask for then expected us to pay for, the same designer who packed up shop and left the province halfway through the job without planning on telling us, the list goes on and on.

What makes it worse is when you pay to have it doen to save you the time, and have to spend your free time fixing it all anyway...
