Bad parents who let their 7-year-old play LFD2.

As long as there's a thread for it; I hate the English language, technology not working and, to an extent, stupid people.

How is that bad parenting? I grew up playing GTA and I'm fine, but that was before online gaming that is.

We really have only your word for that though. Copycat violence and language can be damaging.

Having my furnace down. Still. This has been 3 freakin' weeks. And the guy working on it who is supposed to know what he is doing is slowly beginning to piss me off. He tore apart my pump. Now, after he put it back together it doesn't build any pressure. Gee, I wonder why? Maybe because you just took apart a 30+ year old pump to clean when you should have just left it alone. Now I need a new pump. YAY!!!!

He keeps telling me, "You should just replace the furnace. Its old and inefficient."

Yeah, ok buddy. You give me the 3-4 thousand dollars to have that done and I'll get right on that. Nope, the 30+ year old unit was working fine until you took my pump apart trying to service it. It might not be a, "Bean-Counter Super High Energy Efficient" model but it keeps my house warm.

My mom always said if I ever did anything out of those games, there would be a belt across my ass faster then I could think.

Well, now we know why you didn't.

Oh, Lords yes. This is terrible. More so you walk into an area small cutscene then you die and have to start over right before the cutscene. I'm not a frikin idiot, I know what to do! Stop showing me the same thing 50 times in a row, dammit!!!

There should be a universal agreement in the game industry to ban Unskippable Cutscnenes from games forever

People who do the right thing for the wrong reason.

Stuff like that also grinds my gears. Due to hardware restrictions, now nobody will know what my opinion on that Chinese religion is.

People that drive while they're so high on weed, they don't see my usually impossible-to-miss-huge truck, drive right into me without even trying to break, and leave me with no car for two weeks while I have to find a way to school, work, and the stables everyday.

So much stuff grinds my gears I can't list em. I know more than half would be crossing some unlisted rule here.
So I'll just say this:

People grind my gears.

PCs with 64-bit OSes preinstalled that have less than 4 GBs of RAM and whose mobos can't recognize more than 4 GBs of RAM. I mean, what's the point?

I've been organizing my big list that I use to keep track of games coming out this year and the next, as well as games with TBD release dates, and there's a very large amount of games that seem to have just disappeared off the face of the earth. It's a shame because most of them looked like they had a lot of potential.

When I see a music vid, it sounds awesome, buy the song (or album) and get a crappier version of the song, im looking at you "ich tu dir weh" :stare:

I'm still waiting for that PS1 version of Black and White.

What grinds my gears is the lag in Modern Warfare 2 that usually means
when i empty a clip on a enemy's face it doesn't register a single shot. :glare:
