You know what grinds my gears? part III

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2010 6:53 am

Quote from previous thread:

Solid_Moose started this, for lack of a better but censored and "spicy" expression the title will be one above.

My warm water was shut down for a month yay.

I tried to take a cold shower, got soaped first and then i started to shower, after 1-2 minutes my arms got purple and that scared the [censored] out of me so i quit.

I remained with soap on me for a few hours until i found the time to warm some water on the cooker. By the time i got the water hot so i could wash, i noticed my body was covered with red itchy spots from the soap that was on my body for hours. Now i got a body rash yay

Post stuff that annoy you here.

The situation just got worse, one of the pipes broke and now they cut off all water to my bathroom, i don't even have cold water now.

I only have running water at my kitchen sink. The guy with the broken pipe does not allow the plumber to make a small dent in his bathroom wall in order to fix it --- i can see this lasting for 2 week+

Edit:

Got my cold water running again, hopefully by the end of the week i'll also have warm water.

Edit 2:
On the 4-th both my warm and cold water have been "unlocked".

You know what grinds my gears.. that I cannot use the Xbox 360 controller on the PS3. That there is a firmware update on the PS3 so people cant use the Xbox 360 controller on the PS3.

I didn't know that we ever could. Wouldn't the buttons have to be mapped?

Well before, no (With the xbox 360 controller).

I was just next door testing out different controllers and my friends Mad Catz controller works, but its not as great as the 360's. You can edit the button layout, as usual, with most games.

I think I might just have to get a cross battle adapter. I wanna whip his ass in SF now.

people who walk into my kitchen, see me working at the computer, realise that I'm not goofing around but actually working, and can't show the common courtesy to wait two minutes while I button up the page I'm writing, and lay into a conversation mode that's relentless -in a Ruby Wax relentless kind of way.

I know I should lock the back door, but then my son can't come in from playing outside..

Not all that surprising, though, is it?

I mean, if I buy a guitar, I won't be upset because it turns out I can't play it like a clarinet.

Hmm I think a better anologie would be saying you can't play the guitar like a bass.

It is surprising.

They updated the PS3 so you cannot use the 360 controller. Those [censored]es! The other PC controllers work, its just that the Xbox 360 PC controller does not. The best one out there.

You should just get a modded ps3 controller.

Contains mild FFXIII spoiler

Spoiler
Orphan

There's a difference between difficult and cheap. Somehow they've managed to combine the two into one of the most annoying bosses that has ever lived in video game history

Nah. I want the 360 controller. Its has such a perfect stick/button/trigger/bumper layout and it is extremely comfortable.

I think I might just get a cross battle adapter. Can prolly get one for 20 bucks in China town, or can probably have someone make one or make one myself.
