You know what grinds my gears? Mk IV

Post » Tue Mar 02, 2010 3:02 pm

You know what grinds my gears? People who bought MW2 and a console at X-Mas an call themselves gamers. It really annoys me how so many people at school have played MW2 and think it's the greatest game ever because it's like the only game they've played. Pop culture can piss me off sometimes <_<

The game is so bad, they probably are the people who use OMA grenade launchers and commando.

People who play a game just to make others angry by using something unfair or annoying, I asked someone who would use nothing but OMA grenade launchers on mw2 why he did it he said "To piss other people off" then in game later he started yelling about the other players being cheap. While using the cheapest class ever... *sigh*

Failed automatic pay systems.

No light saber?

Stupid labels that are divisive. "African American." "Native American." "Black Person." "White Person". "Redskin." Labels like that tend to lead to trouble because the highlight unimportant differences. Why can't we all just be "People"?

If you don't mind a quick peek at my crazy mind.
Spoiler
Color code (generally) different races and then try to combine the colors to make a purple person.
Motivation provided by RvB

It also makes the whole thing outstandingly ridiculous.

Sunlight. Sure light and warmth are nice, especially after a damn cold winter, but ToJKa function properly not direct sunlight in.

Is it odd that I actually don't like sunny days but love rainy days/storms?

Time zones, how do they work?

Every nation wants noon to be when the sun is over their nation. This in turn enables Daylight Saving Time (Stupid idea if you ask me) And IIRC it was an English postman that invented the time-zone system

Morons who say Movies/Vidoe game/ Music etc is the cause of violence in youth. Idiots have been saying crap like that for far too long. First, it was adventure stories (like Tarzan or 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea). Then it was pulp magazines. Then, moving pictures. Then, comic books. Then, Rock N' Roll (The Beatles were Evil Incarnate, according to these idiots). Then, television. Then, video games. Now, it's Hip Hop and technology. They never, ever point the finger at the true cause. Who was it that allowed these youths to: Read these stories? The pulp magazines? The comic books? Watch the moving pictures? Listen to Rock N' Roll? Watch television? Play video games? Listen to Hip Hop? Who was it? The PARENTS!!! Violence starts at home. When I was young, I watched violent movies (I first saw A Nightmare on Elm Street when I was around 10). I played violent video games (Mortal Kombat!). I listened to Rock N' Roll. I read: comic books, fanatsy novels, science fiction, horror, you name it. I did all of that and I wasn't a 'violent youth'. Why? Because of my parents. They took an active role interest in every aspect of my life. The weren't control freaks, but there were there to say "This isn't okay in real life. It's done/said in movies/books/songs/TV shows/video games etc, but those aren't real."

This is so true it's not even funny

Peach flavored iced tea, both in the can or as powder mix.
Whoever invented it should be forced to eat their own entrails.

Well, everyone has an opinion, and IMO he's pretty funny. There's no way he's as bad as Fred though......

Humidity, heat, cloudless days, all annoying.

People who believe that violence is never the answer, when people freak out about violence, being over-punished for violent acts, pacifists, these really grind my gears.

Walmart greeters. I don't think I've ever hated something irrationally more than Walmart greeters. My blood boils every time I go into that [censored] supermarket.

It's worse when it's the only supermarket within 10 miles...

Public Restrooms. If you have ever used one, you know exactly how bad it is. Toilet paper so thin you can see your hand through it, carved messages from other users, and never seem to be clean, despite them being closed all the time when you actually have to go. Oh, the humanity!

Also, an MTV show know as The Hills. Now, I would never watch something like this in my spare time, and still haven't. But unfortunately, there are times where things like this are unavoidable. Upon glancing at the show, all I saw was stupidity. Essentially, it's watching people argue for a few minutes, followed by a music video. Not exactly a music video, but playing a new song for almost it's whole entirety, while showing scenic shots of the city. It's not even a show!!!

I mean, it's common for many people to dislike MTV now, but that show was just terrifying. I am dumbfounded that there are people who actually watch it.

Sorry to anyone who disagrees with me, but i'm pretty positive there isn't anyone on here who would actually watch something like that for a serious form of entertainment.

Doritos, regardless of the fact that they're delicious.

-My dogs get into them, regardless of where I left them. Turkish rugs aren't fun to clean.

-My brother uses them as a fuel source, and the crumbs go FREAKING EVERYWHERE :banghead: :flame: :swear:

-You can't touch anything while eating them, unless you like orange.

Upon reading some of this thread: Guys on internet forums who try to exude a sense of toughness. Ah, but it's so entertaining at the same time.

Thanks for the laughs.

The fact that anyone actually likes any Pokemon beyond the first 151. Seriously, they're pretty damn lame.
People who smoke at bus stops. Just wait til you get home, don't poison me.
Girls who think wearing a tiny black dress in subzero temperatures makes them attractive, when in actuality it makes them look like braindead morons.
