You know what grinds my gears? Mk IV

Upon reading some of this thread: Guys on internet forums who try to exude a sense of toughness. Ah, but it's so entertaining at the same time.

Thanks for the laughs.

Linux
Apple computers
iPods
iPads
iPhones
The prefix "i". It doesn't mean anything.
Xbox 360 controllers
The fact that anyone actually likes any Pokemon beyond the first 151. Seriously, they're pretty damn lame.
People who smoke at bus stops. Just wait til you get home, don't poison me.
Girls who think wearing a tiny black dress in subzero temperatures makes them attractive, when in actuality it makes them look like braindead morons.

Are you sharing a computer? :P I guess IHAFD won the fight to use the computer first.

What grinds my gears? In summer? NOTHING. I'm so happy, nothing to do except watch movies and the world cup matches, eat, work out and do [censored] all day! The only downside is being a bit bored when I have nothing to do.

The summer time heat here is another thing that "grinds my gears".

Time zones, how do they work?

How would it work without time zones?

Sunlight is WAAAY overrated IMO. It's bright, you can't see anything, your eyes hurt and the have to squint everywhere when your outside

Good think my body can function without it (fair skin produces more vitamin D) .

Just one of the marvels of nature, in ancient times it served people who could not have regular contact with sunlight(due to harsh temperatures and/or less sunlight then in other places), now it serves basemant dwellers like myself hah

I don't actually have a basemant , mind you ---just a figure of speech and after i pass my math exam i can get out again, this has been my one year in "exile".

Yes it does, fair skin just makes more of it/absorbs more sunlight to compensate for negative temperature environments(and thus limited contact to the outside) and weaker sunlight ( in modern times it servers little use)

WTF? Is the problem with contractors? Do they not like money? Seriously. My furnace has been down 5 weeks now. The first idiot walked away from the job. Now, I've gone ahead and hired a second HVAC tech the guy was supposed to be here last night....yup, you guessed it...he called said he wasn't coming...then he asks if he could come over this morning.....I STAYED HOME FROM WORK!!! Guy was supposed to be here at 8am. It is now 8:30am. WTF? You live in my town there is no traffic. There is no problem. I HAVE MONEY!!

I'm about to call up the local tech school and put myself through an HVAC course and get certified. Because that's how I roll. I (censored)ing hate waiting for (censored)ing people to do (censored) for me. WHY IS EVERYONE (censored)ING USELESS!!???!?!?

Yes, I am pissed off.

Not that I really wanted to go to work anyway, but still...I could've gone to work instead of sitting here on my ass waiting for yet another unreliable service guy. I'm gonna go punch something now.

Sunlight is WAAAY overrated IMO. It's bright, you can't see anything, your eyes hurt and the have to squint everywhere when your outside

It also makes you sweat, burns your skin and dehydrates you.
People say "oh but it looks nice" so dose the [censored] snow, and that dosent cause the above issues.

I still dont understand how I works, iirc darker colours absorb more light, white refelcts more, so I still dont understand how its not the other way around ? Also if I were to go to a really sunny place would I see any good effects from all the vit D ?

At any rate it takes far longer for a black person like myself to get sunburn than it would most of you guys due to my larger melanin content.

Actually, the tan your skin makes is to protect the body from the suns UV rays. I also read somewhere that the life expectancy of a dark skinned person (African or whatever) goes down naturally the further they live away from a naturally hot and bright environment by as much as a decade. No proof on hand but I read it in a science journal

For me it ends with mew. :poke:

But I have to hand it to Smugleaf and the annoyingly persistent Lucario. :cheat:

No, you can't beat dualshock, an improvement over the Super NES controller, that was already damn near perfect :)

Of course i've never use a X-Box 360 controller, but i have a hard time imagining how it could be better.

Works good enough for Killzone 2, made even better by the fact you can use the motion detection to fine tune your aim while sniping.

Well, what do you know? I'm still a Sony really devoted fan :lmao:

I know it protects you, but it seems that would be canceled out as darker colours absorb more light, so that would just seem to cancel the effects of the melanin.
Its not hard to take longer for sunburn, I burn very easily, nasty burns even in the UK where its rain and gray most of the time.

i can put layers on if the snow makes me cold, if im hot In can only take so many off. Also im the snow looks nicer, and I find cold, crisp air more refershing than a sunny day.
yeah it protects you, but it just seems strange that the darker colour dosent cancel out the effect because you are absorbing more light.
