I just had a thought well I never actually came across any mini nukes :spotted owl:

Their hidden well I guess even though I played the game nearly 100% :spotted owl:

I'm not asking where they are I'm just saying maybe and update to place some more out their to make them a little easier to find :spotted owl:

No point to even look for them, the Fatman was nerfed to be on par with the Missile Launcher, but innacurate with poor range, it wont even kill a Deathclaw.

Well i would agree with you, i didnt like the idea originally, but it exists, it shoots mini-nukes, even if it is a bit silly, we had the Davy Crockett in real life, it isnt so far stretched, as it is now is just defying logic even more than its conception.

Hopefully it'll be fixed or at least somewhat remedied sometime. The Fatman should have at least some use as a nuclear catapult, as it is there isn't much point in having it but to sell it, and its ammo, off.

well there is one way to get unlimited mini nukes, there is a boomer near the far ass end of the map were the boomers are located, she and or he carries a fat man in good condition along with 3 mini nukes. if u kill him and or she he and or she will respawn every 3 days with the same items in his or her inventory. i just use the fat man for fun despite the fact that it sorta svcks

I have to agree with you on this one. It weighed a [censored]-ton and wasn't much good for anything.

It's not like it matters, there are more Fat Men than mini nukes.

Yeah the Fatman got Nuked (Pun Intended)

I'd just sell the Mini Nukes as they're worthless in New Vegas unless we get future DLC that actually has a good Fatman.

According to Wiki, there are a total of FIFTEEN mini nukes in the entire game

I honestly wouldn't mind the Fatman if its use let you wipe out map locations and hit with a blast comparable to around 7 tons of TNT.
(and had a 500' perimeter of lethal radiation at the impact site, and say.... 900 rads for a ? mile further out.)

*900 game rads I mean.

I don't know about you guys, but I keep my nukes handy at all times ;)

I got a modded Fat Man and 12 mini-nukes at my disposal. 6 alone can be obtained in Nellis, 3 on the farmer, 2 in the power station, and 1 on the top shelf at the munitions dump. Just use the 'grab and drag' trick on the box at the top shelf, drop it on the floor and a nuke should roll out.

Not the most rounded of weapons, but I love it like its my own son.

Fallout 1 had ~1 nuke in the game.
Fallout 2 had ~1 nuke in the game.
Some point to the irony that the PC can save what's left of the world with one of the weapons that nearly destroyed it.

Fallout 3 has a Fatman round near Vault 101 IIRC ~"Violence is [~~~~~~] funny!"; and it has a town that you can blow up for the hell of it. Truthfully, I think the idea of an arm-able nuke that can detonate ~fits, even the Church of the Atom fits IMO, but I always felt that characters in Fallout had more sense than to form a town around an old leaky bomb that might go off. The only way that Megaton could make any sense to me is if the bomb was buried and unknown to most people living there, or.... if Megaton were populated only by Ghouls (who loved the rads, and could dare anyone to attack them).

**Somehow I don't see Ghouls worshiping the bomb... To me that would only be nutty smoothskins.

I was annoyed when I realized just how much the new Fallout trivialized nuclear weaponry ~Totally un-series-like IMO.

Nuclear weapons don't "leak radiation" unless the various layers of casing have been compromised...in which case it's highly unlikely that it would be be able to detonate. They also have an expiration date since the active nuclear parts are radioactive and are constantly (slowly) decaying and turning into something else. There's many problems with the town of Megaton and it's weapon. Just think to yourself its just a game and you really should relax.
