so, my character was going through the main quest, and I get to the point where you read the Elder Scroll at the time scar and thought to myself "hmm.... reading an Elder Scroll without proper preparation is supposed to make you blind... I'll just turn my Monitor off for 5 minutes and call that the effects wearing off..."..

and then while my screen was off I walked off the side of the Throat of the World......

ahh well.... guess I'll start a new character....

But, why would you move if you're blind?

because, after you read the Scroll Alduin attacks (likely to take advantage of your blinded self), so I was trying to run around in circles and you know, NOT get eaten....

The million dollar question...

lol.

Looks to me like an excuse to kill off a character.
