You know you play too much TES when...

When you lend the game to your friend and then tell him you want it back as you miss cyrodiil. Or when you discuss with your said friend botanical hotspots in cyrodill and great uses for such flora in potions. Then realise you're in starbucks and people are watching you.

When you feel insulted when someone doesn't say, "look at the muscles on you," after you've just worked out at the gym.

When in trouble you shout "Guards!"

You greet people with "Hail, good citizen."

You address black people as Redguards

You wonder what toilets are

You walk outside and say "Nice graphics."

You run around wearing nothing but a brown cloth diaper and expect people not to react

You ask a drug dealer for skooma

You know you play too much TES when, on your week off, you create a new character on Monday and by Friday you have accumulated 57 hours of gameplay...

Which you try in such a strange way that all your classmates think you're weird. You consider reloading.

When the temperature's a little too warm IRL, and you jump your character into the nearest body of water to cool you off.

When the closest you get to taking a break from the game is coming to this forum.

*Edit to add* This one actually just happened to me-- when you get the rhythm of the game down so well that you find yourself in a dungeon thinking, "Hey, y' know - it's probably about time for Audens Avidius to show up," and not two minutes later, there he is.

I remember the night I got Mothership Zeta for Fallout 3, as soon as I encountered the Samarai, I wondered if he was a Nord or an Orc...

Today in Cultural Geography, we learned about Imperialism, and the first thing I thought was "IMPERIAL LEGION. I've been playing TES too much... By the Nines! I should post this in the thread I made!"

True story, only I didn't think "By the Nines!", I just added that in. But everything else is true.

Which you try in such a strange way that all your classmates think you're weird. You consider reloading.

Or maybe if you in the computer lab and ask the teacher why your not quickloading when you hit F5. :brokencomputer:

When, even after a long hiatus, you can still name most every NPC in Morrowind and give a wealth of other knowledge on said NPC only going by a vague description.

You know you play too much TES when your whole family calls you a nerd for being on the computer so much.

EDIT:

You know you play too much TES when you tell your friends you can't hang out with them because your busy...Playing TES.

When you can control the amount of hours you want to sleep for.

When you eat some chedder cheese and believe that you're prone to getting burnt with fire. Your reflexes are a little slower too.

When theres a hole in your boots and you beat it senseless with a hammer

Whenever you see uncommon plants, you get the urge to pick them and hope to god you manage to successfully harvest it.

I've actually had moments where I see plants and immediately think "Ooh I wonder what kind of potion that would make -- WAIT WTF"

When you try charming a girl by casting a charm spell

fixed.

when you murder someone thinking an assassins guild will come to you in your sleep

when you walk outside in your "white mages robe" (a bathrobe) and say "Gee, it sure is a nice day in tamriel" and you see a homeless guy and you say "Oh no, a khajiit beggar! heres a coin!" and you hand him a penny

when you see someone with a pistol and you yell "f*** you bethesda! f*** youuuu!"

you pour water into bonemeal and call it a "resist fire" potion, drink it, and light yourself on fire thinking your impervious to flames

Epic Win.

This actually happened to me a few days ago in Microsoft Word...

I started laughing, becuase I posted the quote a few days before it actually happened
"What? That F5 key won't work! :brokencomputer: Oh... Nevermind..."
