You know you play too much TES when...

just realized this one:

...when you've got three copies of Morrowind, two copies of Tribunal, one Bloodmoon and a Collector's Edition of Oblivion and still feel there's something missing

...when you go shopping for clothes and wonder where the armor is
...when you read a book and wonder why your skill isn't going up
...when you sleep thinking you will level up
...when you go shopping for supplies and ask the cashier where the scamp skin is
...when you run through town in your underwear thinking no one will notice
... when you try to glitch out of the world map
...when you think wearing a ring will let you walk on water
...when you go to a car dealership and ask where the horses are
...when you think you can get 5 promotions at work in one week
...when you refer to short people as Bosmer
...when you see Bosmer, uh... I mean short people and run thinking they are the adoring fan
...when you try to cast voice of the emperor on yourself before giving a speech
...when you have a competition and say "I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than you!"

...when you think wearing a ring will let you breathe water

fixed, heh heh....

when you go to the renaissance faire wearing a bruma guard cuirass

when the sky turns red and everyone thinks the apocalypse is coming you grab a sword and say "An Oblivion Gate! I truly am the Chosen One!" and run outside

when you call drugs "skooma"

when you name your cat "Khajiiti"

when you name your gecko "Argonian"

when you place "Khajiiti" and "Argonian" in the same cage to annoy them because you now they dont like each other

ok, i will

(the above quote)

all the (daedric, DB, thevies guild, mages guild, knights of the nine) quests and their rewards

every quest in fallout 3

every starter quest in WoW for the trolls, tauren, orcs, and blood elves.

every WoW barrens, dragon blight, borean tundra, and ice crown quest

and finally, every still-aired episode of sinfeld front and back.

try me on that last one. any scene no matter how insignificant you may think it is

EDIT: and the shivering isles main quest

...you compare the pixel shading on a body of water in RL to the pixel shading on the water in Morrowind you first see in Seyda Neen.

This is a true story. My friend spoke of this during a walk we were taking.

Haha.
When my friend first got the game, and I was playing Rainbow Six at the time, I gave him a detailed desciption on what he should do.
Best part is, I haven't played OB in a few months when that happened.

Haha, nice.

When you have no reservations about murdering someone because the penalty is only a night in jail with a minimal loss to speechcraft and acrobatics.

When someone asks you about skill trainers and you name all four of them (as well as their location), proceed to tell him which factions you need to belong to to get training, and at what time of day each of them offers their services.

When you know where to find all of the daedric princes' shrines, no walkthrough.

When you can't stop saying "What's the matter? Getting tired!?" or "I've fought mudcrabs fiercer than you" during a (mock)fight.
