You know you haveing problems waiting for skyrim to be released when......

When you start thinking that time goes by like oblivion.

you see the advertisments for Dragon Age 2, and get totally excited for it, and when it comes in the mail, you get about halfway through it and think to yourself: "This isn't like what skyrim sounded like in the 14pg artical." Then put it up without finishing it and go on reading the artical again and thinking time will go by faster like in oblivion.

You start thinking Oblivion is reality

You almost ask somebody if read a book, then realize it's one from the game.

You wonder if/when a movie version of The Lusty Argonian maid will come out. (a friend of mine asked me this one )

You refer to night vision goggles as nighteye goggles.

You come up with band names that are appropriate for Cyrodiil: Tiber and the $eptims, Sons of Sithis, Mudcrab Method. More here.

You come up with sports teams that would be appropriate for Cyrodiil: Chorral Crusaders, Cloud Ruler Templars. More here.

You see a cave IRL and think "I wonder if it has any good loot?"

Lets here your Ideas of not being abel to wait for Skyrim

You keep making useless threads on Tard worthy Ideas that have already been brought up many times before, -and- you keep arguing for features that have been stated as to NOT be present in game.

When a friend who knows about your ES love shouts 'Skyrim!' in the middle of a conversation and other people are a bit put off by how suddenly the whole conversation becomes an hour long diatribe on Daggerfall, Morrowind, oblivion and elder scrolls lore..

True story:)

When you cry about how the price has gone up 10 dollars. To the same price as it is for console gamers. :) Not my problem though. Someone I know.

-snip-

You take a lot of ideas from the 'You know you're addicted to Oblivion when' thread and make it in to another 'original' thread.

You spend hours upon hours in the imperial library going over elder scrolls lore.
You test your computer with system requirements labs Can you run it? against dozens of new titles to see if you might be able to run Skyrim.
You start thinking up excuses for disappearing for three weeks after 11.11.11.

Hmmm, I should have a decent amount of vacation built up by then...

I have too many games to play in backlog and a 2011 calendar that has more AAA games than I have ever seen for one year and I've been gaming since the 70s. I'm "extremely looking forward" to playing Skyrim, but I wouldn't call my activities in the meantime "waiting" exactly.

...It's more like the Universe has designed a plan to rain down a fierce storm of awesome games to distract me from my anticipation of Skyrim.

EDIT: You know you're having problems waiting for Skyrim when...... you think the Universe actually cares.

You wake your wife up out of a sound sleep to tell her about the announcement of the next Elder Scrolls game even though you know she cares nothing for any computer games whatsoever.

True story.

Same thing I did for New Vegas, Forget about it. It'll come when it comes, nothing that any of us can do to change that.

I supposed you could say I'm replaying Oblivion in anticipation of Skyrim, but then it's not like I ever really stopped....

I'll also be picking up TW2, although I'm not that desperate as to import it overnight. Might get it this month or next depending on free time/other games coming out (will likely buy Dead Space 2 next).

And then there's my game backlog, as well as all the other titles coming out between now and 11-11-11 (Deus Ex: Human Revolution being my second most anticipated)....

And yet, despite all these great distractions, I'm still looking forward to the february issue of Game Informer more than anything else right now :)

I take it you imported?:)

Having several backlog games to play like TW2 and several games for Wii,DS,PS3,360 to get and or play before TESV:Skyrim YET still be more excited to read the upcoming issue of GI!

I've got one better than the thinking of band names thing.

You're in a band and you're heavily considering writing a song about Elder Scrolls.

I've done this many times. Even before Skyrim was announced.

When it comes to your mind only now that you had to reply in a thread (that was basically a forum game and it was my turn) on the Total War board around the time Skyrim was announced, but you were so amazed by the announcement you forgot to log in there for a month and you realize you forgot about a lot of people you previously pvssyd with for over three years (and by extension the news on Shogun 2 TW) by this. Sorry, lads...

Yes the game was announced last month on the 11th, exactly 11 months away from the release date. Just throwing that out there.
